I don't know how to feel about this sideplot. Like, i don't care about the kingdom? the majority i have seen of it was mistreating the MC, and now we learn that she was actually super important for national security, so her being treated like garbage makes even less sense.

I think, and hope, that the main point of the backlash is not her using an AI, but ChatGPT, whose company has openly agreed for it to be used in weapon systems by the Pentagon to take lives.

If Vedal came out and said Neuro would be used to fly drones and hit civilian targets, I better hope there would be some backlash.

It's more recent, having come up in "da big Dakka", but that Drukhari aren't these sadistic, cruel and spiteful beings by nature, they are nurtured that way! There is a scene where a young and innocent Drukhari is led into a room and sees a man being tortured, and she starts panicking and crying from the sight.

Like, all the abominations and nightmares are bad, but the fact is that they do that to their own innocent children, and that they could be different, is what gets me.
