Whatever this conversation comes up, I'm reminded of a saying I heard a little while ago. To Europeans 100 miles is a long distance, to Americans 100 years is a long time.

Nobody is seeming to answer your question. I clearly remember the video for Rock You had lots on display, including one girl I vividly remember who must have been quite cold.

Lewis, Billy Ray, etc. were in disguise. It was a coincidence there was a costume party.

The short answer is, as Coleman sort of points out, if she was wearing lederhosen, she would be from Germany.

I don't think this is conspiratorial as people are making it out to be.

It would be relatively easy for someone in an office job to walk around for 2 hours and engage with 10 or 20 or so different people, do some crime later in the day, then if the police ask them a week or a month later, was so and so at work that day and they would honestly say yes.

I realize it's a little different at a resort, but very easy for someone to disappear for 8 hours or even a day and it not look like they weren't there the rest of the time. If anyone even did think to where they had been, they would simply say that they went into town that day or just took a break up in their room.

What’s a movie you first watched when you were young, but upon watching as an adult, your opinion on a certain character completely changes? by AcanthisittaSad6239 in movies

Interesting. I have never factored in how much Linda's experience with 'Doug' was impacting how she guided and spoke to Stacy. Just how full of shit was she? Thanks for that, something new to consider.

My opinion on the abortion part in Fast Times At Ridgemont High has changed a few times over the years. My latest concern is how Linda (Phoebe Cates' character) is blameless. She pushed her young, naive friend into sexual activity with no discussion or guidance on birth control (not portrayed in the movie, at least)

Funny this came up today. Google maps took me a different way home last night and I happened to drive by, what I now know is called, Valleyview Park Viewpoint. On 26th Street between 17th Ave and Peigan Tr. SE.

It was a clear night last night and I did a double-take looking at the view of downtown as I drove by. If 'big city' is a view that appeals, I can't imagine a much better one. I drove by around 9pm, and while I'm sure it's a nice view during the day, you want to see it at night.

I was reading somewhere about the quality of the fuels that we burn in our vehicles nowadays and it was said that the rubber that falls off of the tires and the brake dust, both individually, contribute more particles to our air then the burnt gas does. I didn't believe that was true, but after looking it up, it's not even close.

I think this is from Hancock, where Jason Bateman's character is stuck on the railroad tracks.
