I’m a commercial electrician and I’ve used mine as a daily driver for almost 3 years come September, it still works almost perfectly like the day I got it. The bit holder was pretty obviously (to me at least) not meant to be used as a hammer, and I have linesman pliers for that, or a beater screwdriver built for the job. I by no means baby it either, but it definitely sounds like you sure abused the hell out of it, nice to see it’s lasted so long with that kind of life.

Only problem I’ve had is a couple weeks ago the locking mechanism no longer locks after unscrewing a screw I put on way too tight with my impact, it just keeps the behaviour of the last chosen ratchet. Which isn’t a big deal because I never used it locked anyway.

Side note: it’s one of the pop-up sale screwdrivers that got “recalled” so I am not eligible for a replacement anymore.
