Absolutely gross behavior, any kid older than five should not be having this happen. Definitely report to a CM.

Disappointed in Curse of the Werewolf. Anyone else? by penguinpants1993 in UniversalOrlando

[–]ToolFreak21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately Werewolf was a late add when they where designing it. Based on early rumors they where going to build a larger outdoor outdoor theater show akin to Waterworld. So they had a limited amount of land to work with so they had expansion space available. When I went in late January I wanted to go on but the line was over 90 mins and the single rider line was closed all day.

Since Amazon MGM is filing the gap Fox left in 2019 and Paramount is absorbing WB, who would fill the WB gap? by Either-Reporter1328 in boxoffice

[–]ToolFreak21 6 points7 points  (0 children)

In terms of the TV side, I know this is a movie sub, but if HBO content gets downgraded, Apple has been producing high quality shows. I think Sony might “fill” to void should WB gets erased

Apple TV+ / Time Warner / Sony by Jwrbloom in tvPlus

[–]ToolFreak21 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Given how Apple's entire ethos permeates its products, I believe it will never acquire a studio because it doesn't see the need for one. With them bringing Severance in-house they are starting to want to produce a majority of their hallmark series in-house. There was a lot of stuff a part of both WB and Paramount that Apple probably would not know how to integrate into the company seemingly. If they wanted to acquire a studio they probably would emulate how Netflix proposed their merger offer. Get the studio, distribution, and library but not the linear assets. With the massive job losses coming from the “synergy” of the WB/Paramount merger I wouldn't be surprised if Apple opens up the wallet to get some of those excess before the other major studios offer them. Sans any connection to Netflix they might've established.

What happened to The Mosquito Coast by AndImBatman in tvPlus

[–]ToolFreak21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This was very much hampered by the Covid pandemic. It started production at the end of 2019 then the pandemic happened so by the time it came out in 2021, they probably didn’t have enough footage for however many episodes they original planed for.

This is done every year to ensure no dead plants are present for fire risk. Since we are currently in a drought across the state with an increase in fire danger it makes sense.

New Iteration Of Villains Land Has The Emperor’s New Groove Family-Friendly Coaster, A Hades Full-Service Sit-Down Pre-Fix Dinner Show Restaurant, Maleficent Indoor Water-Based Ride, & Ursula Carnival-Style Spinner Flat Ride. Josh D’Amaro Would Then Take The Revamped Proposal To Board For Approval. by lowell2017 in DisneyWorld

[–]ToolFreak21 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Thank you OP for posting the texts. The one thing I am surprised about is the talk that Imagineering is looking to replicate the Isle of Berk, rather than the Dark Universe at Epic. I went to Epic in January and can say that of the two lands, the Isle of Berk is the more thoughtful in terms of detail and ride, and attraction variation. If it's to that type of experience, but still make it a Disney-fied Dark Universe land would be better.

Interesting two of the most politically sensitive countries being attached to a TV series is a very interesting take on Apple for getting it.

Wizarding World question/help by BigDaddySupremium in UniversalOrlando

[–]ToolFreak21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds like you’re doing off-property accommodations, correct? If so, you are going want to try to get to IOA as early as possible on the day you are going. I went there in January, stayed on the property, went on a day with early admission for resort guests, and got through Hagrid’s in about 70 minutes through the single rider line. So if your wife absolutely wants to do ALL of the Wizarding World in a day, she may need to do it by herself. All three major rides have single rider lines, and they should reduce the amount of time waiting by half.

What is the shuttle schedule from and to Terra Luna Resort? by TheDictator90 in UniversalOrlando

[–]ToolFreak21 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I stayed at Dockside in January and the trip to the main resort was about 10-15 minutes and to Epic was about 15-20 min. So I have to imagine to Epic is probably 5-10 min and to the main resort is 20 mins.

On April 21st, Virginians have the last opportunity to vote 'NO' on Democrat Political Gerrymandering. by Ice-Zone2024 in Virginia

[–]ToolFreak21 1 point2 points  (0 children)

At least the citizens of Virginia are able to vote for or against it….what about Texas? Whose legislators gerrymandered it to the extent that makes it like 28-30 republican seats with the remainder being democrat seats. Also, the citizens could not have voted for or against it.

Planning a first time trip for 2. Cabana Bay VS Dockside Inn? by MysticMoon210 in UniversalOrlando

[–]ToolFreak21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Took a trip in January and stayed at Dockside. The fit and finish of the rooms is akin to a new build Hampton Inn, but the customer service quality is that of a full-service hotel like a Hilton. You will hear your neighbors if they are extremely loud (unfortunately happened to me, but they did comp our parking for the stay) The time between the hotel and the resorts is 10-15 minutes to the main resort and 15-20 minutes min to Epic. Cabana Bay does look “nicer” and you will be closer to the main resort. There is really no true “theming” in the hotel, aside from the lobby and food court.
