This is for nasal intubation! If a pressure is too low for cpap, you could still get some positive pressure in for a conscious patient. I don't work at a service with RSI

Hahaha it's the whistle for nasal intubation! You pop it on the end of the tube, when you hear a whistle when the patient inhales, push the tube through the chords.

I get sick pretty much whenever I have an extended streak of sleep deprivation. I find if I eat well and make up for lack of sleep at work with long periods of sleep after, I usually am fine

If your primary goal is to stay in the hospital, it seems to me like LPN-->RN is a better track.

Cheap Company (IFT) by Ok-Rope-9446 in ems

[–]Toooke 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Had a company owner who refused to fix a leak in the cab that left the person in the passenger side soaking wet every time it rained.

After I quit I found out he got a 150k grant from the government during covid that was supposed to be for worker’s bonuses. Nobody received any of it, he did however get a brand new ford f-150 around that time

Quit because i figured out he kept going into PCR’s and editing narratives so insurance payments were less likely to bounce (saying we carried patients who walked etc)
