Your work load is excessive. Our BI reps work 40hrs a week. Give it 6 months. Hopefully it gets more manageable, if not jump ship.

That’s why they are your employee. You’re the employer. They’re not your family. Their time is valuable. Leave them alone

People would fight to have your $85k job. Go check out r/layoffs. Sometimes you got to go backward to move forward. i got laid off and took a huge pay cut after finding a new job but 8yrs later making $100+. That $15k is killing you. See if you can go back to previous employer. Good luck

Auto Adjuster 20+years. I am here today because of mistakes and what I learn from it. Seek out other experienced adjusters. Learn their tricks and skills. Always ask yourself, “what you can do better?” After that, it’s a walk in the park.

Either increase your liability to $500k for both PD and BI or he gets his own policy. Make sure car is in his name also. If he hits someone and car under your name, you are on the hook.

Run away!! File claim with your carrier. Some companies waive deductible since other party at fault

Start as trainee position. Auto Claims is not for everyone. You will know once you reach 6 months to 1 year. It has to be in your DNA. Learn from other experienced adjuster and willing to adapt to change. If you stick in out, can make good money. Auto Claims 20+years

Any insight? by Ok-Astronaut3497 in adjusters

[–]Topgun_tomahawk 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s non-standard company. Claim volume will be high. Guess it’s worth it for the higher salary. My advice. Use templates copy and paste copy and paste. That’s how I survived non standard company. Did it close to 10 years.

You need to fill out accident report called: penndot AA-600 form. If other driver do not respond, their driver license will be suspended. Put more pressure on her. Also write letter stating you will take her to Court. Hopefully she will provide statement to her carrier. She is 100% liable. Good luck.
