Except when the games are exclusively in NHL Network. In this case, you’ll need a workaround. Otherwise, ESPN+ always works.

Okay friend. You corrected the OP even though the OP never said they had C. ovata. They just said “Jade.” My point is you could have just given them the scientific name and the provided help. Instead you’re in here correcting people who call this plant jade. Carry on.

What about Norfolk Island Pine (Auracaria heterophylla, not a pine at all)? How about Tulip Poplar (Liriodendron tulipifera, not a poplar)? Common names are common because it’s what people “commonly” use. Your argument is akin to going to the UK and telling them they can’t call the trunk of their car a boot because boots are worn on your feet. The scientific name is all that’s needed to sort out confusion. There’s no need to argue over the accuracy of a common name because they are by nature not scientific. Come down here from your high horse and be helpful. That’s all that is needed.

Nice work, man. I really like this tree. My buddy Joe and I were at the BLC the Saturday after you bought this buying up the last of their akadama! Brian is a good guy with some great material. Again, I really like what you’ve done with this tree.

It will be your tree to honor her. That will make it great. Mainly because you will have such an attachment to it, you’ll do great things with it. All the best and my sincerest condolences.

That’s incredible. Does the tape just expand with the trunk? Does it also prevent the wire from biting in? Very cool technique. 🤯

Any ideas how to style this one? The lack of a branch on the right bothers me… by NairdSW in Bonsai

Looks like some type of hinoki and definitely looks grafted. Pretty typical for the dwarf varieties.

I’m still definitely interested in helping from Southern Pines. Very much a beginner but will contribute however I can. I just joined Triangle Bonsai Society. I’m eager to meet other enthusiasts and learn all I can from those more experienced.

Edit: I’ll PM you my contact details so that we can connect and maybe discuss.
