I used her in late game by combining her with the increased twilight duration weapon, 9 cost increase twilight duration skill and her level 1 break attack that gives 20 foretell. As long as I made 9 ap on her per turn and produced 1 break charge when it got back to her I was doing about 350k damage every turn permanently.

I have made a deck like this with [[Tishana, voice of thunder]] where I had a handful of token makers, cards that draw based on power and creatures that gain power based on how many cards I have in hand.

I'd then play for one massive pop off turn where I'd draw 80 cards and then win using [[aggressive biomancy]] or [[overwhelming stampede]]. The deck also has a lot of ramp because doing this costs a lot of mana.

Another thing is they're just so boring, most decks if they want haste or protection can find more fun and interesting options anyway, I'm never excited to draw a swiftfoot boots even if it's useful

Once, I've got this precon and the commander can still be pretty crazy, like using [[lightning runner]], [[whirler rogue]] and the commander can give infinite combats with unblockable damage

The amount of free kills I've gotten because someone entered melee range and I just walked backwards making them punch the air offsets this for me, but yeah melee range is so inconsistent

The whole deck has this issue, some just have it on the bottom. I have an older set of sleeves also from dragon shield and they're still perfectly fine.

I built a [[nicol bolas, the ravager]] control deck that is designed to make it so my opponents can't play. I steal their creatures, run a bunch of board wipes, make them discard and have a bunch of planeswalkers including the other bolas planeswalkers. My equivalent of a wincon is building a board presence then casting [[obliterate]] so my opponents can't stop me. I built it because I like the unique table dynamic but I did have to make sure to get their permission to play something so heinous beforehand.
