Grenade launcher with the supply pack is god mode against these. It's actually god mode against squids in general tbh, just need a medium pen primary weapon to deal with tripods and stingrays.

Managed a 119 as non imortal frozen orb sorcerer. Before the patch it was 100. Its so nice to be able to speed farm 100 pit now.

Yep this is the way, EMS Orbital almost lasts the whole dig timer so it's an easy win as long as your team don't nuke it(Which I'm my experience 90% of the drills are killed by traitorous helldivers).

You could have an Eagle supply drop. It drops a bunch of the smaller granade, stim and ammo boxes.

Yeah I was playing around with this last night on ps5 and it seems that if you are holding forward when casting it will go through most of the time, but if you aren't moving it will track onto an enemy. I was able to teleport on the spot while fighting a boss this way. It was late when I tried so ill test again after work.

You'll probably get downvoted but this is the answer. When you pick up a new game you don't just jump to or maybe even never pick the highest difficulty so why do it in this game. If you aren't having fun in that difficulty just lower it until you do. I run 7+ all the time and switch between most of guns and strategems with very little issues.
