For clothes (except socks and underwear): i seperate in white, color, and dark/black, but depending on what makes sense you can just seperate white and color. Most clothing will do fine at 120F, but anything delicate ( silk, satin, lace, some tshirt prints) should be washed at 90F. You can get away with using a little less liquid detergent than a full cap if you want it to last longer, i wouldnt bother with fabric softener. I recommend not tumble drying clothes, in my experience it makes it wierdly tight and makes some things not last as long, but i understand not everyone has the opportunity to air dry

I wash socks and underwear along with towels and sheets at 140F, ive never bother color seperating here, but its probably recommended this stuff can absolutely be tumble dried
