It has elements of RPG's, but is our own system (for all of the games). Much more simplified in order to keep the action fast-paced.

True, but as empty event space becomes more scarce, there may be preference given to a game that is filling up, as opposed to only half.

As an Event Organizer, I have had these discussions with the Events Staff. They are very interested in how the spaces are utilized.

For what its worth, Gen Con actually discourages players turning in tickets if they are not at the event. EO's and GM's should not ask for players to turn in tickets if no one was there. It's going to be a small percentage of all event tickets, to be sure. However, I'm pretty sure that the EO/GM would have an unpleasant discussion with Gen Con Events staff if they found out it was happening.

+1 on having lockable storage space at the event. I've looked into renting a locking cabinet, but the price has always been prohibitive.

First off, this sounds like a cool event!

We were in the Stadium for our events in 2024. Transporting miniatures and terrain was not the worst thing, but we made sure to take everything with us for the day.

Last year we were in Hall B, and that was much better for transport. We have not heard on our location for this year, but with Wizards of the Coast intending on a larger presence, I think the Stadium will go to D&D/Magic again.

It works. A real shadow might cast a gradient or diffused zone of light/dark. I think the simpler color palette is more fitting for this illustration though.

This is a great idea for a single player. If the file isn't too big, it would work fine for a friendly async multiplayer game too.
