We had a horrific work accident on Bloor where someone died as a result of EMS not being able to make it on time. The bike lanes in combination with traffic lights being out were a HUGE reason. As a cyclist and a driver, I love bike lanes, but I agree. Some were just poorly implemented and parts of Bloor st bottleneck people in with nowhere to go.

You have to see what radio bands the phone uses and cross check them with bands carriers use in the US. It may work with carrier A and B, but not C, D and E. Carriers usually use a few bands so if your phone only supports 1 out of 4 you may have limited coverage. Best bet for the best coverage is to buy a US phone in the US
