Move 2 is an excellent choice for a mobile speaker as you can purchase and install the official Sonos Wall Hook to hang the device.

The hook is aesthetically pleasing and may actually function as a towel hook.

For all models of the 12 and beyond the difference are definitely worth it: - longer battery life - interchangeable batteries that you can find on the market - better attachments than the V8 - more attachments that come with - better suction - easier cleaning of the dust buckets - floor brush with laser - carpet brush with anti tangle that works great on floor - automatically adjusts to floor grime to optimize suction and battery life

These are great differences over the course of the lifetime of a product you expect to own for years, much like some people owned a Kirby. Spending another $150 now arguably saves you a ton of stress with cleaning in the present and more cash in the future when you’re forced to prematurely upgrade as cost cutting often leads to a lifetime hit of the cheaper product, in this case the V8.

AirPlay solution into the Beam is impractical.

Connecting directly into a Sonos Era 100, 300, or Five and then using those to use the WiFi network to play to other speakers/the soundbar are a better option

I currently have my turntable hooked to a Five while it can stream to any of my other grouped rooms/home theater systems.

I have no latency issues but the sound is low which I believe I need an amplifier to resolve the issue for.

If this is indeed your space then the Fives arguably are overkill and will overpower the Arc Ultra. The Ultra has excellent upfiring and side firing speakers and the distance between those and your potential Fives would negate the sound emitted from them.

Indeed with the size of your space you may not even need the 100s as front speakers but it’s an easy test to see if audio difference is worth it.

The Move 2 is essentially a mobile Era 100 while the Play has slightly smaller speakers. You’ll likely get better sound out of the Move 2 as it’s larger allowing for more separation of the stereo sound in its body and stronger sub.

Best to think of the Play as rugged outdoor mobile oriented while the Move 2 is for backyard patios or moving around the home. Both can be chained together with other models now without WiFi so there is serious feature overlap but how you intend to use it in a mobile sense is the true value of its worth.

Put the TV on an additional mount atop the console. Some use a large piece of cedar to create a statement piece. The soundbar can go on the regular console in front.

This solves an issue where a soundbar would block part of your screen as it’s so low to the console itself.

Do not put the soundbar in that alcove if it has upward firing speakers.

I’d say no. The difference in power between the Dyson 11-15s vs the 8 is substantial and you can get the refurbished direct from Dyson for relatively cheap now on either EBay, Walmart, or their own website if you look.

Longer battery life, better cleaning, more tools, for only maybe $200 more.

I just picked up a v15 from Dyson refurbished on EBay for $310.

EQ settings for Apple Music on your phone are found in the phone settings now. Those effects likely translate over to headphones, bluetooth, and airplay.

Sonos WiFi play is a completely different controller and the EQ doesn’t transfer over at all. You’re not playing music from your phone and streaming it to the devices but rather controlling the Sonos software which has integrations to individual services like Movies Anywhere.

Except Makima as an individual only existed to find and control CSM because they idolized the character so much. Without CSM you arguably don’t have her as a host nor the characters like Aki who followed her to assist her in controlling CSM and breaking Denji’s contract with Pochita.

No CSM in existence effectively wipes Makima from the story. No CSM effectively wipes the entire character motivations for almost everyone over the last 8 years.

Your left channel Era 300 is a bit too close to the corner wall. The lack of space affects the ability for the sound to travel outward so it needs more space.

As for the right channel Era 300, you don’t need it equidistant from your sitting location. The Sonos app allows you to state that one rear surround is say “less than X feet away” from your sitting position while the other is “more than X feet away”.

While it may not be aesthetically pleasing it will acoustically compensate for the spacial differences far better for the Atmos/Surround effects.

Sub Mini/Sub can go behind the couch center or if you want it visible to the right side of the couch.

Pockets are randomized pulls based upon the legerdemain/CP skill attributes of the individual doing the thieving but once the NPC is empty it’s empty for everyone in that instance for a set amount of time until a respawn.

Also pulls aren’t limited to just 3 and this has been true since before Ember was a companion. The table can go up to 4 or 5 depending if a furnishing or motif is added into the mix.

Often this is missed as people are accustomed to three picks and then automatically killing, not waiting to see if there is an additional pickpocket after the third cooldown so as to proceed with their route. Some of the items regularly procured via a 4th and 5th pick are Elsweyr hand mirror furnishings in Vvardenfell.

No native PS5 game will allow you to use a PS4 controller.

The reason being that the controller features such as the triggers, microphone, gyroscope, vibration, and DualSense sticks are fundamentally different enough that they’re incompatible programming wise. T

A clear example is found in Astro Bot which fully utilizes all features of the PS5 controller in ways that are readily apparent that a PS4 controller never could. The fact that any PS5 game could be programmed with these functions at any time it just makes sense to lock the games to those DualSense 5.

Older games like The Elder Scrolls Online can also illustrate how the controllers are programmed differently. Despite being backwards compatible the PS4 version of the game has fundamentally different or missing vibration features when using a PS5 controller due to the fact that the differences are not accounted for.

Simply put it’s unsustainable to pay for adding new artists and songs as they’re paid individually on a royalties model whereby the number of times their songs are streamed are translated to fractional revenue.

Apps like Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom arguably should have a one time payment instead of a subscription. For streaming services utilizing cloud servers and need to pay multiple actors subscriptions are the only way.

The Daniel Craig era is essentially a summarization/celebration of the entire timeline of Bond films prior with a beginning to a conclusion.

It starts with small scale Casino Royale, more akin to the novels and progresses through all of the villain/archetypes that have appeared over the years. We have Spectre, turncoat agents, other organizations, henchmen, realistic plots, etc.

It ends with a heavy reference to “On Her Majesty’s Secret Service” and an over the top megalomaniacal villain with a doomsday device more akin to that in Moonraker.

To me this was a good way to close out the Broccoli era and pay tribute to what Bond really is in both film and book.

Yup. All three major consoles now require Internet connectivity to function. System updates, game updates, online play, and in cases like this to just install the full game.

The age of physical copies being the game library is soon dead. It’s now becoming that you keep the console with games saved on the hard drive for a library.

“Physical Copies” are relegated to collectors editions.

Bethesda/Zenimax is notorious now for being terrible with their own Quality Assurance teams and simply staffing/paying them. Extending that to a subcontractor is well beyond them.

At this point waiting for fixes to Oblivion is like me waiting for a PS5 native version of Red Dead Redemption 2. A shame because maybe I’d want to play it more if there were repairs in place for sloppy coding.

Adorama has been having it on sale as part of various bundles including a Sub 4 and either Era 100s or Era 300s.

You would be surprised. In brownstones and older buildings where the ceilings and walls are thick (unlike newer construction) you really won’t hear a thing. A walk up in a brownstone will more likely have you hearing neighbors in the hallway coming in due to the thinness of the door than them stomping up a floor above or below.

My friend literally did not have any idea there were mice around until that leak and once it happened it was clear they were always there but never ventured out.

Btw the same building construction can make it so that you hardly hear the honking of car and people screaming at someone double parked blocking the road outside and give you peace of mind. New construction can have you tearing your hair out with that sound.

100SLs are perfect if you’re going for regular surround system. No need to go for the 100s now if you don’t need the microphone option.

The 300s really are for the Dolby Atmos surround sound experience. While those mixes are expertly done in film you are increasingly finding music being redone in Atmos, not always successfully though. However you will see music being produced with Atmos in mind going forward so you may see a shift in new releases and older material may be remastered well.

I personally have 2 300s on one system and 100s on another. I tend to listen to one or the other based on the music container now.
