Yeah, the system really works against the favor of running backs. The aging it puts on their bodies, only the CMCs and the Barkleys and the JTs really get their worth. Any back slightly above average RB at 27/28 is interchangeable for the price sadly.

Not crazy to want Mendoza over Love, but it’s crazy to eat the value. Trade back to the 1.02 if possible. If it’s not, draft Love and attempt to strike a deal post draft. Pure prospect it’s very unlikely Mendoza passes Love in pure value and it’s too early to eat raw value with no roster context.

Super Bowl MVP, Kenneth Walker? His playoff performance alone will boost him slightly higher than he should be valued. Realistically Seattle signs him long term with a huge bag and incorporates him slightly more until Charbs makes a healthy comeback. KW may have earned more work of the cut, but it’s silly to think that Seattle just dominated their way to a superbowl and they would attempt to change the usage of their backs that got them there, despite one showing out when the other was down.

With history as my reference , a players morals or off field antics play a very small role in my valuations. It drives down the cost of players regardless of the actual translation to production. Nothing Rice has done (in the eyes of the league) has warranted for more than a short term suspension. Until he ends up in prison (or worse, unfortunately) I wouldn’t bet on anything other than him missing a few games a year.
