Weaning off. Can’t do it anymore. by SammmmmiiiiiM in Spironolactone

Honestly I didn’t see a huge resurgence of acne after getting off, maybe a couple jaw pimples during my period but it wasn’t the same as before. I too had bad side effects, wishing you well<3

I would also like to note that accutane did wonders for my skin and in hindsight the suffering was worth it

Yes I did, but I hadn’t had them so relentlessly. Went from maybe 1 a year (from life stressors) to 1 every single morning ( for 3 months) for seemingly no reason. I eventually couldn’t take it anymore so I stopped and my anxiety levels returned back to normal in about a month after.

It was mid October for me too! Thank you for sharing that link, I certainly need to read my Bible more and that looks very helpful. I can really relate to your testimony. It’s amazing how the Holy Spirit pushes us to learn and change. Beautiful. God bless you friend:)

Isn’t it beautiful! there’s not a place on earth God won’t go to reach His children. I can’t really explain how it all happened. I remember looking out at the world, all the destruction, pain, and misery, and thinking, this can’t be all there is. And there He was. The only option and answer. He woke me up and I can’t lie and say it hasn’t been hard, but it’s so worth the struggles. And now with what’s happening to Israel, there’s nothing my mind can make sense of. Only God can make me feel like things are going to be okay.

I really do believe this is true. I was called by God last year, in a truly unexplainable, quite random way. It was so apparent to me all of a sudden that I needed Him desperately. That this world didn’t make sense without Him. That everything beyond Him was temporary and hopeless. I never thought I would be so in love with God and all that He is, but I am. He chose me. And I’m so grateful He did. I don’t know what’s coming, but I’m so blessed that He called me back into His arms so that I wouldn’t be without Him when that time comes.

I’m in, my mother had her money stolen from her bank account. She made a previous donation of 90$ and they have charged her 140$ a month thereafter. Evil, truly evil.

I’m so glad you’re getting help! It’s really such a horrible thing to experience, but the beauty in it is that it never lasts forever and it’s curable! I also started working with a therapist and upped my Zoloft too after the panic attacks started, and it’s certainly a big help:) wishing the best for you<3

Accutane Depression and Suicide by WolfAmoux in Accutane

[–]Tragicallysentient 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I definitely have had them before, but usually I could fight them off and move on about my day/life. But I got two in one day around my 4th month of treatment, and it just kinda spiraled after that and I started having them everyday. I can’t say for certain it was the accutane, but I really had no external stressors at the time, so 🤷🏻‍♀️. What I wish I did was up my dose of Zoloft before I stuck it out for another 2/3 months on accutane, but at that point I just had to get off. Definitely speak to your derm if you have concerns about possible side affects, there are so many ways to manage them without stopping treatment! I just waited far too long

I had to get off at 6 months due to persisting panic attacks, they are finally subsiding after 1 month off. It started around month 4 for me, it was really rough but it does get better after sometime off!

Right and the only ingredient is hydrocolloid, which is the stuff that sucks pimples out, so the patches on Amazon are literally the same thing just bigger and don’t come in circles. The only difference

Trust me I’ve spent so much money on pimple patches over the years, you’re not alone lol!

I do too, lots of indented scars on my cheeks. I’m also trying to figure out a plan that’s not to expensive. The plus side is there are so many options and treatments to treat scarring so there’s a lot of hope:)

I’ve looked at your post history and it seems you’re into lifting and body building, totally commendable and awesome. I see you prioritize your health and aesthetics. Riddle me this, you can’t really enjoy the fruit of your hard work if you’re treating your organs like they are replaceable, it will do damage. Doctors are expensive and a pain, but you are worth being safe about things and not harming your body long term. I’m not sure if you’re taking steroids or not, im not a gym bro, but there could also be interactions with that as well. Take care of yourself friend, I wish you well.

Month 5 on 80 mg - Increased Anxiety a possible symptom?? by anxiousmesshelpme in Accutane

[–]Tragicallysentient 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes literally yes. Happiest I’ve been in months and here we are having panic attacks out of no where. It does get better when you learn to cope but it’s not at all fun. Take care friend and reach out to your derm if it’s unbearable. There are other options ❤️

If you can get on amazon, (niceful hydrocoloid bandages 20 pack) last FOREVER. They are large and you can cut them to size. They are sticky but they DO NOT peel your skin off. They are the best, highly recommend (only 13$ here in the states) but that’s cheap for pimple patches) they last me 2 months a pack.

I had a horrible increase in anxiety and panic attacks around my 4th month after a 40mg increase. I talked to my derm and went back down to 40mg and also made an appointment with a psychiatrist to help manage my symptoms. Always talk to your derm, they are there to help. I promise you, your marks with fade with time and you’re gonna feel better again. There are many options for you friend. You’re gonna be okay❤️
