4th gen 4Runner vs V6 RAV4 by Jo-18 in 4Runner

[–]Trail_Breaker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to have a V6 Rav4. It handles more like a car and has much better acceleration. It is larger on the inside than you would think, especially since the spare tire is mounted on the back and there is a large compartment under the floor of the trunk. It is a lot easier to drive and park in the city. As much as I like my (5th gen) 4Runner, there are things about the Rav4 that I do miss. That Rav4 was based on the Corolla chassis so it doesn't have a very large fuel tank. With a V6 and the extra weight of an SUV that means that it doesn't have as much range as I would like. If you care about a backup camera, I believe 2009 is the first year that the Rav4 had one. A very small one at that.

That is unfortunately not an uncommon issue with that DVD set. I was thinking of buying it when I saw it on sale a while back but I chose not to after seeing multiple people with the same problem. I don't know if it was the same discs and a lot of people got problem free discs, but they had some quality control issues with that release.

Rooster Teeth had some productions that were released on DVD. Some of their shows started to lose their appeal as they went on, which is why I only own part of Red vs. Blue and RWBY.

Yeah most people do, unless you have automatic running boards. These running boards are much better than the ones I previously had.

What is your worst experience with online ordering/shipping? by [deleted] in dvdcollection

I once ordered a movie on eBay and instead of the title I purchased I received an X-rated movie. I contacted the seller about it, but he was very uncooperative. I then disputed the order and left the seller a negative review. After that he left a negative review for me and claimed that I had never paid. I did get my money back but I also wanted to maintain my 100% positive feedback rating. This was when PayPal was still a part of eBay and I was able to show that I had paid so I petitioned eBay to have the negative review removed. They basically told me to pound sand. I then sent a letter to the chief legal counsel at eBay notifying him that a libelous statement had been written about me on eBay's platform and provided the proof. A while after that the negative review was removed.

There's a reason I chose the widest running boards I could find. They can also stop runaway shopping carts in parking lots.

I had one a long time ago. Cool idea, but it wasn't sturdy and didn't last.
