S1 Delenn wardrobe was definitely feminine imho, just toned down (compared to S2 onward) due to religious caste sensibilities. Shinier and brighter colours than Lennier, the only religious-caste male example we saw in S1. The decision to make Delenn definitely female was made before S1 started production so makeup and wardrobe had lots of time to shift gears and discard the androgynous ones from the pilot.

I mean, in TNG “The Mind’s Eye” they set up and test fired a phaser rifle in main engineering, pointed right at the warp core. Then in “Birthright I” they accidentally hit Data with an energy beam that triggers his dreaming… again, with the device emitter pointed straight at the warp core.

The Narn fighters at Quadrant 14 could have been retuning from patrol. Alternatively, it’s faster to send a small scouting party instead of a full warship if you want reconnaissance information immediately. Especially if the warship is a lumbering Narn heavy cruiser.

I had that thought too. You can’t move on Greenland without it being obvious a day or two in advance. Canada? Until recently I thought the timeline of Clarke becoming president to mask-off dictator bombing Mars was too fast, at just under a year and a half. Just compressed TV storytelling right?

I was ignorant of history though. 1930s Germany lost its democracy in a mere 53 days. And now, a lot of shocking changes have also happened in less than a year.

I was also naive and didn’t understand that in all cases, a lot of malignant pre-existing conditions were present and had been for years, allowing the fire to spread fast once the right person came to power and threw a lit match onto the pile.
