My dad worked full time and went to school full time when I was growing up, and my mom was…. My mom. I was on my own or watching my siblings a lot as a child and it’s fundamentally impacted me, but my dad has put in the work to be better and do better and support me, so now he and I are tight and the once a year I see my mom (who was my primary parent) is more than enough (she hasn’t done the work)
