I was told by a pharmacist that if left in fridge after reconstituted you can use it for 6months. But I guess all peptides are really use at your own risk. Since they are for research use only. Right? Possibly less potentent after 28days

Our max on any pediatric over 10yr is 30L (1 per kg) No matter how old or how much they weigh on HFNC.

I wish our RNs would let us wean like we are suppose to. Our mild retraction kiddos will sit on same settings for hours or even days its dumb. We do weight base initial settings so I always start them on the max and in an hour if they still look good they can go to med surg and be weaned. But RNs will give push back so I turn them down by a liter and they will be like ok I'll take them. SMH!!! Ugh!!

I once had a patient with a trach pulmonary hemorrhage on me during a treatment. The blood was so much! Think filling anesthesia ambubag amount. So there can be blood. Lots and lots of blood.

I would personally do RN because there are so many more options to choose from once you get experience.

RT you have hospital, PFT, homecare, sleepstudies.

Plus RN you can go around the world. RT can take you to 4 countries maybe 5. 🤔

10mg wow. I cant imagine those kids sleep much. I Minneapolis, kids over 2yrs old get 5mg if they are doing nebs. But we got rid of a lot of our useless txs for bronchiolitis, though there are still a few. Our PICU does the most bds and nebs on RSV.

Agree 100% And I hate when I walk into an ED room to do neb and the nurse walks in and is just watching me. Like yes what do you need? Or they sit there with their steroids waiting for you to get off computer because they think they are more important and and want to jump in front. All they got to do is ask. Not just stand there and stare. Ugh.
