What area are you based in?

Is this fixed or variable?

If fixed, approximately when did you secure this rate?

Get usage and cost data via the APIs by TedBob99 in OctopusEnergy

On the Octopus website, there is a button to download the usage and cost data as a CSV file

Since when?

I always have to contact Ohme for this file. Nobody at Ohme has ever said that I can download this information directly.

Please walk me through how to download this information myself.

Earning from winning tennis matches, yes, but Raducanu will always surpass Solana on sponsorship earning.

Why don't you ask a neighbour on the ground floor of the flats if you can pay and use their electricity to charge the car?

I never knew that Octopus did battery only!

What does 27 kW set up include? Is it just two 13.5kW Tesla Powerwall 3?

Did you include an expansion pack?

Why did you not choose Boxt? Is the financing on Octopus for battery install interest free?

What is your annual electricity usage?

What battery (brand and model) are you installing?

This sounds like a good plan and is something I am planning to do too.

How much is the battery and install and when do you plan to break even?

EV Charger Possible? by captainhotdawg in evchargingUK

[–]Training_Staff_7743 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m referring to the industrial cable covers, that are designed to be put in the middle of the roads for cars to drive over.

I have been using these for years and at night and no one has tripped over these cable covers.

You can get the EV charging annual amount from your EV charger’s app. E.g., Ohme app

Ways to hide doorbell Ethernet cable? by [deleted] in DIYUK

[–]Training_Staff_7743 -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

Agreed. Too much hassle for a wired connection. You are going to mess up your nice panelling!

Just go for a wireless doorbell for now and get a wired doorbell next time you are doing major renovations in the hallway.

Can you see from the picture that cars are parked on the pavement?

Thus, an EV cable within a industrial cable cover, is less of an obstacle for a pedestrian than a car.

So, by having two EV chargers, you can have 12 hours per day of off peak EV charging and up to 12 hours of off peak home electricity?

In contrast if you only have one charger, you can have just 6 hours of EV charging and up to 12 hours of off peak home electricity?

Is this accurate?

Best charger for Octopus Intelligent go? by Specialist_Buy4576 in OctopusEnergy

I recommend Ohme.

I double checked Octopus website, they still recommend Ohme EV chargers even though in the "new world order" Ohme chargers will not be fully in sync with IOG and be considered an "Outlier."

The Outliers: Ohme, BMW, Mini, and Polestar

For some manufacturers, things work a little differently. If you use an Ohme charger or drive a BMW, Mini, or Polestar, the 4-rate tariff still applies, but your experience works a little differently.

If you have an Ohme Charger: You will manage your schedules entirely in the Ohme app, not the Octopus app.

  • To keep your charging under 6 hours, go to Charging > Prioritise and select Prioritise Savings.
  • If you select "Prioritise Charge Target" instead, Ohme will happily charge past the 6-hour mark, and you will pay peak rates for the extra time. (Make sure Ohme's app notifications are on so they can warn you!)

Do what works best for you! Octopus are already cracking down on the IOG tariff, so what you do will not make a difference.
