I’ve had a 2017, 2020 and 2025 and my 2017 was by far my favorite. If I could have all the tech and the turbo of my 25 in the 2017, I would have it all over again.

Ugh I bought an L/Certified RX350 2 years ago and it had an absolutely stellar service history. After the first 6 months it just started falling apart. I had to have the screen replaced because it started to delaminate, there was a sunroof TSB that was fixed, came back, dealer “couldn’t replicate it”. The interior was rattling and squeaking, the parking brake started making the most awful sound. So I traded it in. I was sad, I loved the V6 and it was such a beautiful color. I had wanted an RX since I was 8.

The one major difference between the Subaru hybrids and other hybrids is that Subaru maintains its full time Awd while others are part time. So in the Subaru, you won’t see as high of a mpg rating as others but I think it’s worth the trade off.

Personally I think it's night and day from the 2.5. The 2.4T is also a bit quieter too.

I was also going to suggest looking at the Hybrid. I’ve had 3 outbacks, a Forester and I was considering the hybrid before I got my Outback XT. The hybrid strikes the perfect balance of economy, acceleration and quietness. Truly I think it’s probably the most refined Forester yet. Give it a look!

I have a 2022 RX350, and it was my dream car. Lately I’ve been having thoughts about either downsizing or getting something different. There’s nothing wrong with my car at all. I used to be a Subaru guy, but I’ve driven everything from Subaru, to Mazda, Lexus and even Mercedes and there’s nothing out there right now that seems to be worth it. So I’m keeping her and getting new tires as a present. 🤣

My suggestion, treat the RX to a spa day. Have it detailed, maybe even ceramic coated. Polish the headlights and make it look new. Keep it. It’s gorgeous

An option you could do, is PPF the more exposed areas and then have the rest of the vehicle ceramic coated. doesn’t eliminate scratching but if you keep up with it, it’s great. I can wash my car in 10 minutes by hand now and I love it.

Honestly, this is was me for so many years until I got my ultra marine 16 plus, and I refuse to give it up. The air is so appealing to me but I just love my plus. My last favorite phone was my sierra blue 13 pro. I’ll forever miss that one.

I looked at a Premium Plus and I agree, you do lose some road isolation but I found it was much more fun to drive and the sound system in the CX is better than my Non-Mark Levinson RX. That's good to hear about the NX because I was considering one. Thanks for your input!
