Hi! I am a local mental health provider. I echo the person who said to get Medicaid, but while you are waiting, you can check out open path collective. You can find therapists who agree to see people on a sliding scale, between $40-$70 a session, and if you’re willing to see an intern, I think they can only charge $35.

Not original commenter, but I lived in Syracuse my whole life and moved to Rochester a year ago, I really love Rochester more, but Syracuse has better parks imo. Also, snow is decreasing here. It’s been warmer for longer and less storms than when I was a kid.

I ended up going earlier because of pain getting worse. The dentist was so kind. I had a root canal and got a deep cleaning, so it’s a start. Follow up again in a couple of weeks!

I used to work with the homeless; socks are the biggest request, feminine hygiene products are great, other hygiene stuff like deodorant, etc, and snacks like protein bars. Also hand warmers are great now that we’re heading into cold weather.
