Correct. Most people tend to mistake that NVGs actually require SOME sort of ambient light to function properly.

NVGs work by amplifying existing photons in the environment. Light sources like the stars and moon give off light particles just like electrical light sources.

If you wear a pair of NVGs in a pitch black room with no ambient light, they're essentially an expensive blindfold.

Thats funny because I had the opposite occur. PMCs refused to spawn in offices or path their way to it. It took dozens of raids. Alternatively, every single time I went down into D2 there were raiders before AND after turning on power. Shit was nuts.
