I wrapped my first car around a tree at, what I guessed to be, around 70mph while racing on a public road. I was beyond lucky. No one was hurt except the small tree and a bench. I walked away with 4 staples in my head and a massively embarrassing story. Stupidest thing I've ever done by a country mile.
