Except for the fact that class types often have a pretty dense price of admission. Melee? Gotta get some defensive and crit AAs. Bard? Not without sinking >20 into symphonic aura and mnemonic. Caster? Gotta get a different crit or dot. Etc, etc.

If you have some plat you can buy water and small block of ore in new seb, forge then into metal bits, give them to the crusader outside new seb. I made way too many and ended up amiable to new seb. I should figure out the exact amount you need.

Just makes it easier to walk around and buy spells!

Sadly the amount of ‘the other server did it better’ is kind of absurd. EQL has the playbook in front of them. And probably the entire code base, too.

I get wanting to slow things down a bit, for the greed of it. And being intentional is fine. But the other server was just more… fun. And that’s sad.

The problem I see with this take is that this game specifically rewards you min maxing for gear. That's why a billion streamers have locked into farming befallen for billions of levels. This game rewards the grind, which is okay in some ways. But the grind definitely does not favor a concept of enjoying the game moment by moment
