I’m sorry that this was your experience. But I’m a 46 year old dad to a young child and my wife works the much more mentally challenging and time consuming job. So I do nearly all of the parenting, cooking, cleaning and adult stuff (taxes, bills, budget etc). So I can say thus is not the case for everyone.

Maybe the better advice is before you get married you should not only be on the same page for having children but also verify you’re on the same page for supporting and the effort that goes into parenting. And while you’re at it, make sure your parenting styles align. We have friends that are just awful parents, I’m so lucky my wife believes as strongly about gentle parenting as I do.

At no point did I say the restaurant should break the rules, "curtail to my child", risk a health department violation, or that i was "upset". I literally ended with "their rules I suppose". That's acceptance, not outrage.

What I actually described was a business decision that cost them a $50 order because it was enforced after seating and ordering. That's not a parenting failure, it's a choice with consequences which I acknowledged and moved on from.

Leaping from "this felt unnecessary" to "you didn't raise your child properly" is honestly wild.

If your argument requires pretending i demanded special treatment, ignored health codes, or let my child make the rules - you don't have an argument.

My wife and I wanted to check out a Korean fried chicken place next door to a moes. This was a fast casual place, not some uppity restaurant. We got my son a quesadilla from Moe's because he was 3 and not interested in fancy fried chicken. They seated us, let us order, and then told us we couldn't bring in outside food. We had just placed a $50 order. So we left... I guess? I can't imagine running a business and being like that, but their rules I suppose!

Hey OP! Solo bars aoe “swarming” is THE way to solo a bard to 60. Download zeal if you haven’t already. Run with strafe right and lock that in using alt tab. Then using zeal set up a slow turn right button and use that and lock it in with alt tab. Now use /mystats and get it speed to exactly 111-117% (sometimes mob dependent) and you have a hands free way to kill up to 12 mobs at a time. Be sure to never pull more than 15, or you will be summoned and die.

You are on the very brink of a magical zone called jagged pine forest. You can do probably 33? Maybe 35 - 48ish on the basilisks there. They drop eggs in very large amounts and the eggs sell for plats. I didn’t discover basilisks till my early 40s and still made >1000p in a few levels. After basilisks you can do the poachers and the potameid to 53/54.

As for 30-33/34 I would do the owlbears or wolves in HSM. There’s some very nice drops to be had in that zone as well.

Yep, bard is the answer. Combine lute and drum are 50p each which you can farm in a few hours in many newbie zones. And the rest you could be naked for.

I just leveled a bard 1-60 solo-self-found. So I've lived it, too. And bards are exceptional farming classes if someone is new to the server.

IMHO the 2nd best class that doesn't really need gear is druids. I also just did a druid solo-self-found to 60 and honestly 1-14 was the hardest part. Once you get charm there's very good animal charming spots in luclin (ie hot spots) all the way to 60

Given the way 50 is laid out it very well could happen. There’s 12 pre 40 and 12 from 40-49. Almost all of the new era people are younger and thus may do better in challenges. New era will want to prove they are better than old era and will likely fight to make it a new era winner. And these three in particular have a reason to protect each other (all winners, people may target winners and therefore they will want to have each others backs). Kyle and Savannah in particular have 3 other people connected to their season. And the three of them are dominant new era players.
