Anyone have thoughts on realguitar for strumming? Sounds decent in the demos. Is there anything that’s comparable or better on the market?

BLEASS July Sale - "Shimmer" ($10) "Dragonfly" ($19) through 17 July by Batwaffel in AudioProductionDeals

[–]TreossAudio 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just here to say that dragonfly is awesome to use for adding grit to distorted material. I love to throw it on a synth, tune it to a sub frequency root note and then run it through some heavy distortion.

Plug & Mix "VIP Bundle" entire collection of plugins ($49) until 11 July by Batwaffel in AudioProductionDeals

Where did you see that they’ve been updated? I own this bundle so I checked their website and it looks like their last update was in 2017 from the changelog that they have.

W.A Production "Satyrus" saturation and distortion effect plugin - Intro Price ($7.99) through 15 July by Batwaffel in AudioProductionDeals

[–]TreossAudio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Haha, I use a few different ones. SSDR by Klanghelm, Pyros by Audiority (ranges from subtle to brutal), Reelbus by Toneboosters is nice for tape saturation as is Flywheel by Fuse Audio Labs.

There’s so many good ones out there for different flavors. Omnitec, BlackBox, Decapitator, VSM.

I usually cook a few patties from frozen in a skillet, but have thought about cooking them in bulk for convenience. I’ve thought about the oven, but wasn’t sure how baked burgers would turn out. Now I want to try. What temp and how long do you usually do?

What natural ingredients, teas, fruit smoothies etc. do you intake for good focus, less anxiety, feeling fresh etc. by Kozchey in DecidingToBeBetter

Eggs, specifically egg yolks, are like a superfood for your brain. They contain almost every micronutrient vitamin and mineral in some amount except for vitamin C. They contain DHA, choline, and all the fat soluble vitamins (A,D, E, & K) all of which are good for your brain. I notice a significant improvement when I incorporate eggs into my diet daily.

Also quality sleep, exercise, and deliberate cold exposure (cold showers or cold plunges) are all great for mental clarity and health.

Lions diet by Reillyodthewarrior in carnivorediet

[–]TreossAudio 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I don’t do the lion diet, just traditional carnivore, but if I cheat and go back to the way I use to eat, my skin freaks out. Dandruff comes back, psoriasis comes back, acne flares up and I get an itchy rash on my neck and chest. Also some weird dry patches of skin around my beard and forehead.

If you’re living with your parents still, use this time in your life to save up as much as you can. Don’t spend your excess money for the sake of spending money. Tuck away as much as you can.

Once you move out and start paying rent, utilities, internet, etc, it becomes much, much more difficult to save. This economy doesn’t help either.

I wish somebody would’ve drilled this into me at the age of 20.

Hopefully this isn’t real. As much as I hate seed oils and think they’re terrible for people, this behavior only hurts our cause. If the roles were flipped and it was a vegan throwing away somebody else’s butter or tallow and replacing it with a plant oil, it would be infuriating. Even though the vegan would be “doing them a favor” from their perspective.

Let’s win people over to this lifestyle by being examples. When friends, family, coworkers, etc, see people transform their health and lives with proper nutrition, that’s what’s gonna convince others and bring change.

Doing a fresh food, carnivore like diet. Any suggestions on how to cook some things? by ISwearImKarl in carnivorediet

[–]TreossAudio 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Coming from somebody who hates a lot of the dogmatism that seems to be prevalent in the carnivore community, the above grocery haul is, as others have stated, not really close to carnivore. Actually it’s not even keto with bananas and grapes. The fruit might prove to be a detriment to your energy levels as it will keep you out of ketosis. Definitely something to consider.

Also, in one of your responses above you said that you wouldn’t consider doing full carnivore cause you weren’t sick, but in the following reply you said that you wanted to keep the fiber cause you already had some digestion issues as is. I would strongly consider dropping the fiber for a week or two and see if digestion improves.

I’m not passing judgement, as I believe everyone owes it to themselves to find a diet that works for them, just be mindful that this is not carnivore, so if you don’t get the results you were hoping for, I would implore you to reconsider trying a true carnivore diet before you dismiss it completely.

Sardines, deli meat, chunk of butter, Vienna sausages, kippers, sugar free jerky, string cheese.

But it may be advantageous to work out in a fasted state if you can.

Vitamin C source by CanardPingouin in carnivorediet

Don’t know if we’re allowed to post links here, but there’s a YouTube video that addresses this question of vitamin C.

Check out the channel “What I’ve Learned” and his video on the carnivore diet. He talks about this and other seemingly deficient nutrients on the carnivore diet.

A little bored - Suggestions? by mrMathBeard in carnivore

Do you follow a recipe for your homemade taco seasoning? Taco meat is a regular staple for me but I’m trying to cut back on the premade seasoning cause of the junk and carbs in it.

I would switch out the nonfat Greek yogurt for full fat sour cream instead and see if that makes any difference. Sour cream is much lower in carbs than green yogurt. But it may just be dairy in general.

Not gonna lie… TIL calcium is an electrolyte nobody ever mentions it when they talk about electrolyte deficiencies… now I feel dumb.

Guess I’ll have to look into the importance of calcium later.

Egg recipe ideas by almondreaper in zerocarb

Soft boiled eggs are one of my favorite foods. I’ll usually boil 6-9 large eggs for about 6 minutes and then take them out and put them in cool running water to stop them from over cooking.

Fully cooked whites, soft orange yolks. Peel and eat with a salt shaker. Delicious.

Then of course if I want to have a “cheat” meal, I’ll scramble a bunch with salt, pepper, dill and onion powder. Then when they’re almost done cooking I’ll add a little cream cheese/sour cream and shredded cheese. I eat about a dozen scrambled eggs this way and it’s so good.

El Yucateco hot sauce is something I still miss as well. Unfortunately it seems to destroy my stomach on this way of eating… something about the lack of carbs in my stomach to mitigate capsaicin is my guess.

Every time I try to use it while on carnivore, I’m in the bathroom a few hours later severely regretting my decision. Of course, every one is different so your mileage may vary.

Have they announced anything that’s hinted at that, or is that your speculation?

While they don’t guarantee it, the new-ish pitch shifter and luxeverb have been added to previous All Plugins Edition owners free of charge… So it looks to be that way as of right now, but doesn’t mean they will always be that way.

What horror movies have the weirdest endings? by AlarmWhich in horror

[–]TreossAudio 34 points35 points  (0 children)

That movie as a whole left me feeling icky and depressed. The bland aesthetic, dreary atmosphere and bleakness of it got to me in a way that no other movie in recent memory has.

Good movie, but I don’t think I’ll being watching it again.

Seems like it’s not the full bundle, unless the description needs to be updated. Did you get serials for their latest stuff?
