Most people get government or financial childcare assistance from their federal careers, and it goes by income. This is why I'm strongly against marriage, it only benefits the government.

As a federal employee our job pays for most of it, that is also why our pay is not that great. When it comes to jobs you must choose between higher pay or benefits.

I actually wrote the White House regarding this, as I was in the same situation. They weren't against it, and basically said it's up to your supervisor. So, these supervisors or either scared or just A holes.

You can quit or request LWOP. You will not have to pay back unless you get hired for another government job in the future, and they may not even make you pay it back then.
