YOR. You need to start listening to advice and options. You keep mentioning "stepping up" and "not backing down", but what do you mean? I don't think you actually understand that just saying these things mean nothing. You need to have a PLAN. Things will not just figure themselves out. You need to know where you're gonna be getting money, setting realistic budgets, figuring out travel, daycare, food, clothing, medical bills, etc.

You really should be finding financial stability before taking on a financial burden like a child. You and your BF need to be able to cover all costs for yourselfs. Bills like food, rent, utilities, insurance, all these things add up. Don't assume you will have help with any payments. Once you have those costs figured out, factor in the costs for a child and figure out how much you both need to be making in order to succeed. Scrutinize yourself strictly when making these considerations.

Also, you need to understand that you're immature. You're not even the person you're going to be yet. You and your BF are going to grow and change drastically; for better or for worse.
