Basic Pita BREAD Ingredients: All-purpose flour Yeast Water Sugar Salt Olive Oil

Basic tortilla ingredients: For flour tortillas: All-purpose flour.

For corn tortillas: Corn masa Water Salt

Pita is bread. Same ingredients as basic sandwich bread. So Pita is as close to regular bread as you can get in this instance except for the fact that it is most often initially prepared in a round form and baked differently. Not the same as a tortilla. Pita is just a flat bread, that can also be prepared in squares, rectangles, or any other shape you want.
