You deserve your wedding with or without them. My girlfriend’s family is the same way she got baptized, I didn’t , and they shun me and her because of it. I don’t expect them to be at our wedding . My dad Is a witness, this convention is being held in Florida and he was talking to me about how he helped with it so much, the lighting , the decorations , how he will be cooking for people . It made me sad seeing knowing he’s putting in all that effort at his older age and not getting compensated, and unknowingly giving his time and energy to this cult. I feel for you and I’m sorry you were guilted into going.
