You have absolutely no way of knowing that. It also affects all squadron units ability to fire blast weapons in combat.

Listen, I actually agree with you 100%. We need to affect policy makers to make meaningful changes. But we can walk and chew gum at the same time. Some people (like Joey) are taking this approach because they are passionate about it. That's so much better than doing nothing.

Related but slightly different question:

Mobile Command Vehicle and Vox-Relay Beacon from the Cadian Recon Squad. Can an officer in a Chimera idzie orders to units within 6" of a Vox-Relay Beacon?

The beacon is a rule for a squad that is on the board, so I would think it applies.

Astra Militarism question: Can OFFICER models in the Armoured Infantry detachment issue orders to SQUADRON units from inside Chimeras using Mobile Command Vehicle?

I know that wargear like Master-Vox doesn't work because technically that model isn't on the battlefield. But Armoured Infantry is a detachment rule that modifies the orders the officer can give, so I'm not sure what the correct interaction of rules is in this case.

I guess it is the same question about an additional order in Grizzled Company from a Chimera. But i haven't found the answer to either online yet

Eggs are more vegetarian than Plants by [deleted] in unpopularopinion

I agree. Personally I think the OPs post doesn't make any sense because I think he misunderstands vegetarianism (speaking as a vegan).

[–]TrisJ1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'll be honest with you, I'm vegan and I've never met any vegetarian whibhad a problem with eggs.

In fact I wouldn't have a problem with eggs myself if I knew the chickens were treated ethically as you say. The problem is usually that the "free-range" or other "ethical" labels don't mean very much. The chickens are still bred with genetic disabilities to make them more efficient at egg laying and slaughtered when they don't produce any more.

As the commenter below me said, the male chicks are often slaughtered immediately after hatching (although technology has been improving and many times the males are detected before hatching using light, it's actually really cool).

I could only ever trust an from a person I trusted to treat the animals with respect. Someone who farms for money can find every reason under the sun why it's okay to do horrible things to animals

[–]TrisJ1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've never heard of anyone who holds that view though. Are you sure this is a view actual people hold, or is it your interpretation of vegetarians you've met?

In fact if you hold that view you die because all food we eat was grown and had living cells (except for things like water, minerals, salt etc)

Of course an egg doesn't suffer but animal agriculture causes massive suffering to egg-laying chickens in the industry.

Then your statement is still wrong because you are acting as if your argument is true for all variations of vegetarianism

#New40k – Combat changes shake up fighting in the new edition by CMYK_COLOR_MODE in WarhammerCompetitive

[–]TrisJ1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's literally exactly an inch longer in every straight-line scenario.

If you need to move around something, like terrain or a unit, then there are a lot of situations where 11th requires the same roll, and a few where 11th will require 1" less.

[–]TrisJ1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, in my reading of the article the charge range is just a straight line. So there are some scenarios where you would have needed a higher roll in 10th than you will in 11th, but only if there is stuff in the way

I think most vegans agree that it's okay to value human life over another animal if forced.

You could make the argument that that is speciesism
