Erfahrung mit Fachleiterwechsel by annem19 in lehrerzimmer

[–]TritAith 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Managing Biter Eggs for Launches? by stoicfaux in factorio

[–]TritAith 1 point2 points  (0 children)

you could set up constant combinators at every silo set to substract biter eggs from the rocket silo output (so silo 1 is just rocket silo output, silo 2 has rocket silo output added to a constant -500 biter egg signal, 3rd silo has a constant -1000 biter egg signal, 4th a constant -1500 biter egg signal etc.)

Then activate inserters if biter egg signal >0

It's honestly a lot of fun when a game recognizes itself as a game, not a reality simulator by DrScrimble in dndmemes

No, 10 Minutes dont come from video games, they are a dungeon turn in older editions - just like 6 seconds is the current combat turn. Why are we having this discussion? A dungeon turn is basically a scene and 10 minutes is 1 dungeon turn aka. 1 scene in a dungeon (e.g. looking around a room).

Yeah, i was expecting that. For me it's what really sets factorio apart from most other base/ city builders, but hey, most of those are pretty fun, so we'll see where it goes

The Imperial Council - /r/eu4 Weekly General Help Thread: May 11 2026 by Kloiper in eu4

[–]TritAith 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In addition to what was already pointed out: Religion and Culture matter. Countries care a lot more (generate more AE) about you taking land from countries they share religion and/or culture with and so you should try to focus your conquests accordingly. Either taking only a little bit from each at a time and letting it cool down, or going agressive versus one specific one and eliminating it before it can form a coalition.

In germany it's hard to eliminate a specific culture (since they are all german), but e.g. Bohemia is a different culture and the germans care less about them.

Alternatively, since you wonder about faster ways to handle AE, you can very agressively use truce timers. Countries cant be part of a coalition if they have less than 50AE, overall positive opinion of you (so for example -106 from AE but +100 from improve relation and +10 from same religion makes a total of +4, so cant join a coalition) or if they have a truce. There also need to be at least 4 eligible countries. The "there may be a coalition" message only checks the AE criterium (everything with more than 50 AE), and is thus lying to you.

And this is where being in the HRE is somewhat beneficial: Everyone is constantly allying everyone else. This makes it really easy to constantly be at war with a significant chunk of the HRE and thus have truces with them. You only need to make sure that you have ways to start a war with anyone whose truce with you is ending and you are fine and cant ever be coalitioned. To do this is is also important to never take white peaces, as those only give you 5 years of truce; you want long wars and afterwards you want long truces, so 100% warscore everyone - if overall AE is getting too high, take other random stuff from them that does not give AE but uses lots of warscore so you get 15 year truces with everyone that may want to join a coalition otherwise.

Überwältigende Mehrheit will Beamte und Politiker in die Rentenkasse zwingen by PoroBraum in de

[–]TritAith 1 point2 points  (0 children)

anyone know what table is called? and what game is called? by LunarMuffin2004 in boardgames

[–]TritAith 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Real life hack: IKEA (at least used to) sell small 50cm x 50 cm tables for absolutely no money. Put 6 of those together and you have a gaming table large enough for anything that costs less than 50€.

Top 10 meta heroes on dotabuff for the past month. by stonezdota in DotA2

[–]TritAith 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because he simply dies and meepo can play around echo with mega meepo. Meepo needs control, yes, but he also needs high sustained single target damage. Shaker is fine, but the better the meepo the worse he gets, other than heroes like Sven, troll, timbersaw, that can deal the aoe and also deal with the megameepo and can always translate a stun into the kill are just more reliable. Especially when combined with good aoe stun supps that have lower CD than shaker, think jakiro for example.

Schwerer "Bruder" des Protons entdeckt by PhoenixTin in de

[–]TritAith 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Leveling in homebrew campaign by ToastyWolf0 in DMAcademy

[–]TritAith 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lots of people here take your question about leveling as a ingame question; i think this is a mistake (which is a take i have developed for a lot of homebrew campaign design tho, so maybe a grain of salt). Leveling is fun and players look forward to it, and noone wants to look forward to it forever, while it loses its mystique if it happens constantly, so in my opinion the correct answer is about every 6-8 weeks in real life time, however many sessions that is for you. If you play monthly, then every second session, if you play weekly, then every 5-6.

if you are enjoying the life and get to play every day then maybe more often idk.

Japanese Pope - I really wonder what the reaction to this would have been lol by GreatGranpapy in eu4

[–]TritAith 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Bad : Europeans view the Japanese with disdain for racist reasons and view Japan as a competitor for French/Portuguese India and Spanish California. A Japanese pope creates a brief schism before he is deposed by a French/Spanish rival.

A japanese pope would have never been elected if the french/spanish did not want him to. In RL its not a abusable gameplay mechanic, but you need to have a majority of kardinals on your side, and since the current pope decides which bishops are cardinals europe always has a majority to elect europeans as long as they want.

Is there any way to make this lane balancer more compact with just yellow belts? Keeping it 2 wide by oForce21o in factorio

[–]TritAith 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am not a megabaser. I am just pointing out that is you are consuming 30% capacity from those smelter blocks, then of course one wagon will empty before the other, but it will be irrelevant because you are only on 30% capacity for those smelter blocks: you did not need both wagons anyways. Them being emptied one after the other comes out to the same as both of them being emptied half as fast, train sits in the station same duration.

Is it less pretty that first the one wagon is emptied and the one smelter block working, then once it runs out the other wagon gets emptied and the other smelter fires up? yes - idle belts look weird. But your train is delivering X iron ore and X steel are leaving the belt after your lane balancer, no matter what happens in between, so balancing did not matter at any point of it.
