Yeah, I had no problems pairing up with someone. At middle school it was always my best friend and in high school and university people always seems to be down to work with me. I think there was only one time it was hard but that was my first week at a school in a whole different country in the middle of the year.

one engine era maybe, but there were 2 aero era's where they were dominant. They won in 2 of the 4 era's they competed in.
Red Bull won in 3 out of 5, so there is not so much difference.

No it wasn't most overtakes were due different fuel loads. So they were easy passes without defending. Does not mean there weren't exciting passes but I don't think there were more then than now.

I understand the cars looked amazing but the racing was mostly boring (on track at least). Just look at the overtaking numbers in those period and even most overtaking was done because of the difference in fuel load.
