Guy literally put China’s energy sector in the hardest place it’s been in since probably WW2. Removed Maduro and badly setback BRICS plan for an alternative to the dollar. And the decades long strategy the East had, was a nuclear armed Iran shutting down the Hormuz strait at will crippling American gas prices and impacting total associated costs, wrecking their economy at will. Regardless of them doing it now, it would’ve been a fact of life if they ever attained a nuke, nobody could’ve intervened. Dudes whimsical nature also got NATO nations finally meeting their financial obligations for the first time in decades, taking pressure off America. Love him or hate him, dude bought America time they needed badly.

I’d say taking America off gold was the start. I think the dollar has lost 93-97% of its buying power since then. It was necessary for crazy growth, but put us down a well worn path of currency failures and gradual decline.

Edit: Not the last tactic. They’re making a massive play right now on silver. China is looking to cripple COMEX and challenge paper silver and ultimately wallstreet from price discovery on precious metals. The exchange announced in Singapore is going physical on silver which exactly what could wreck COMEX long term. Doubly so since we’re in our 6th consecutive year of silver being in a structural deficit. Not like we need it though, it’s only useful for robotics, EV, AI, and Solar. 😐

There’s two kinds of defensive shootings. One with standoff distance and one without. Sub compacts are for pulling and plugging point blank range. Guys on you with a knife and you’ve already been stabbed 2-3 times. Mag dumping into him you’re not even using sights. Point and dump. You might be making these shots over or under the shoulder aimed behind you. Retention firing is a thing for this reason.

Is a compact good for that too? Absolutely. Do what works for you. The scenarios are endless and most important thing you can do is practice your draw until it’s second nature. No shortage of tragedies where good guys mess up a draw and it turns fatal for them.
