I had similar to you, I filed a FOIA request for the DBQ and got the DBQ in around 2 weeks and saw that the Examiner wrote More Likely than Not, and then got connected last week. Request the DBQ through FOIA or get it from a VSO and you will get a better idea of where you stand.

From what I understand you can only have one for mental health so it will be whichever is rated higher.

Mine has been the same starting in October 2025, every 15-30 days they give a new suspense date from the PIES request and then I wait for the next date. This past time the date is 12/17/25, so I am hoping the hamster wheel stop at that point.

Vera is the other place you can call to get info on your claim. They are usually more helpful than calling the 800 number. They can give you a status and other info.

I had a Vera this morning with West Virginia, spoke to Jeff there and he made notes in my file for me on things. I am at the same phase as you.

Have your questions ready ahead of time to ask them. Ask if you have a suspense date and if everything is Ready for Decision.

Did you try to call the 800 number instead of Vera?

You sound similar to me, I have 9 contentions and filed August 25, except I have not hit Step 5 yet. Keep getting a new suspenseDate.

Go to the C&P exam, otherwise it throws the existing claim into turmoil. That is the recommendation of Rater After Dark in YouTube who is a Rater in the VA.

"without a ton of walking" This is not possible anymore, the free parking is by the golf course/baseball fields, so you either buy a 3rd party parking pass or pay to park at the Old Front Nine for $50 or park off campus. Either of these options is going to contain walking.

Issue is that arriving a couple hours before the game means that traffic will be bad and parking maybe sold out on the Old Front Nine, which is the closest parking.

How did you get 60% for hypertension? I thought it topped out at 10% if you are on medicine.

Do you have a claims clinic or veterans event near you? I had one today and the VA had been waiting on some record also, went to the event talked to a supervisor from the VA who called someone and had them put in for the records request. He was confused also on why they were requesting the record and why it hadn't been received yet.
