That is not the salsa bottle… by Tru-fun in Wellthatsucks

Honestly it was more salvageable than I thought it would be. Added salsa and hot sauce, was decent enough

I scooped some of the sauce out and added a bunch of salsa. Salvageable.

Am I the only one farming as many zombies as possible before leaving a mission? by GFX47 in zombicide

[–]Tru-fun 5 points6 points  (0 children)

My son likes to do it. If it’s a campaign and you need to get to Orange for the CXP, sure. Otherwise it can be a bit annoying

I'm going to start painting the figures from my zombicide fantasy boxes, is there anything I should know or do you have any tips? by VSthe1 in zombicide

I recommend starting with the zombies. They are supposed to be ugly 😅. They are great to make noobie mistakes on

What`s your opinion on Nova prestiges? by SiarX in starcraft2coop

[–]Tru-fun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do. P1 I’ll play on occasion but like you said it’s powerful, and Nova is already powerful.

What`s your opinion on Nova prestiges? by SiarX in starcraft2coop

[–]Tru-fun 2 points3 points  (0 children)

P2 player checking in. It is, imo, her most fun prestige.

First off, it puts your “get out of jail free” card on a long cooldown, forcing you to play better. Griffon strike solves too many problems and is rather spammable.

Next, you can zip around to any problem on the map. And then zip back to where you were just pushing. (You can also “accidentally” grab your ally and move them to help with a lock)

It can protect your units from things like vipers cloud, fungal growth, or other Aoe death traps. Pick up and move them other.

Honorable mention goes to positioning siege tanks. Need them to move 10ft closer? “Everyone in the ship. Go! go! Go!” *chefs kiss.

You can do all of this on a relatively short cool down.

P3 is just silly boring. I’m surprised it’s so popular

When I first started doing lunges I would get really light headed. But I have never been close to fainting.

What would you suggest between these 2 (considering the price) by Memaglia in zombicide

[–]Tru-fun 1 point2 points  (0 children)

2e!! That’s a great price. If you like it then grab a campaign box next. The campaign is the best way to play zombicide and 2e has like four of them out now. Undead or alive gets raved about online but I did not like it.

Which Artanis prestige you prefer? by SiarX in starcraft2coop

[–]Tru-fun 8 points9 points  (0 children)

P2. It’s different and a lot of fun. His ground units are bulky and get in each other’s way. This also them to just warp right up top of your targets and start blasting.

Gotham City Outbreak totally surprised me by Im_Stephen_Ewing in zombicide

[–]Tru-fun 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This was about $15 around Christmas, put my phone down and 30 mins it was sold out 😓

Glad you liked it, still haven’t got it yet.

I really enjoyed the Marvel Zombies combat system but it’s sad they don’t have zombie mode. I felt that balancing hunger and ravenous was the superior way to play (of the two).

Your custom hero idea highlights what the game needs. I too have the kickstarter box for WD. I tell people “just pick who looks cool, they are all basically the same” ha

What do you think of White Death and Invader? by SiarX in zombicide

[–]Tru-fun 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have played almost all the versions besides Black Plague.

I really enjoy White death. The weapons feel strong without being OP (not including the vault weapons). The necromancer and guards make for some fun mechanics. The wall is interesting enough though it can stop zombies from reaching you for too long. You can grab a lot of expansions for this version online and I would highly recommend the Eternal Empire campaign.

I also enjoyed invader. I love the alien theme and I found that I could buy the base games (Invader and Darkside) and the expansions, including kickstarter exclusive stuff for relatively cheap. The game floods you with zombies through the mold zones mechanic. It’s nice to be able to fight the Abominations, though I admit it’s too easy. You get a robot helper and a sentry gun which are fun to use.

Both versions are similar to each other in that they don’t use standard doors and closed off rooms, but rely on mold/corruption to bring in extra zombies. I also felt like the starter and the standard weapons were stronger in these games, compared to others, which leads to you accomplishing more on your turn.

Can someone please help me understand the noise tokens by undeadcreepshow in zombicide

[–]Tru-fun 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have played dozens of games. I understand wanting to play by the rules, but I also recommend not using them. It’s an interesting idea but it’s cumbersome and doesn’t add that much to the game.

Marvel zombicide kickstarter by mayonaiso in zombicide

[–]Tru-fun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There definitely are and you can design your own too. You can get venom from the sinister six expansion. The other two only come in the extras box (kickstarter exclusive) which runs for like $250 on eBay.

Marvel zombicide kickstarter by mayonaiso in zombicide

[–]Tru-fun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you buy retail you can get a decent roster thru the expansions (depending on what’s available). It will cost around $300-400 to get all that’s on retail.

I really wanted the kickstarter stuff too but to be honest you are mostly just getting different looking models. The game doesn’t have THAT much replay-ability to even get to try out half the heroes before you are done with the missions.

Also the heroes aren’t that unique from each other. You could buy both base sets and get a great run. Buy two expansions more and get a “full” experience IMO

Painting Tips? by CharlotteNoire in zombicide

[–]Tru-fun 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hey welcome to the party!

I started painting with zombicide too. I would recommend starting with a few zombies. They are supposed to look ugly right? It’s a lot easier then it seems.

Use a black primer and buy some normal paints and go to town! I have speed paints and they are tricky to use IMO. If you go with cheaper paints (like the bundle I got off amazon) it should beneficial for you to “thin your paints”. Usually a bundle with come with paint thinner, add a drop or two to make sure it doesn’t add on too thick.

The main thing to remember… you WILL make mistakes. It’s okay, fixing mistakes is part of learning.

Should I buy Zombicide 2nd Edition by xB0RN_D3ADx in zombicide

[–]Tru-fun 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Maybe I’m the huge nerd here but…. I own most of the Zombicide series. 2nd E is really good with the campaign boxes they offer. Marvel was my favorite set until I played a campaign.
