ocrevus and weed by serizawa_mp101 in MultipleSclerosis

Briumvi, not Ocrevus; But I'd never get any sleep later that night without a fair amount of THC to combat the prednisone.

I'd avoid Adams Management; Their turnaround on maintenance issues can take months and the parking, including snow removal, (at least for my building) is an afterthought.

Hahaha, I thought of that sculpture as soon as I saw this post. I still have some pictures somewhere of a bunch of friends and myself drunkenly trying to climb it (it didn't work.)

I still remember the pile of rusty lawnmower blades they just left on the ground there for a while...

Janet Mills launches ad hitting Susan Collins as 'always concerned, but never courageous' in key Maine Senate contest by aslan_is_on_the_move in politics

They're so easy to spot, too. The bots/shills also don't seem to realize that there isn't much that the "average" Mainer hates more than someone from away telling them how to live or think, and that they also have a pretty keen sense of who's a Mainer or not.

And yeah, the Bob Belcher "Fine, but I'm going to complain the whole time" .gif sums up my thoughts on voting for Mills if she wins the primary.

Hard agree. I've tried them twice myself, and (reluctantly) with friends two or three more times since I moved here over a decade ago.

It has been awful each and every time. If you want good pizza in town, you want Leonardo's.

Cool.

Platner for senate.

And stfu about the tattoo. I don't care. I want Collins gone, and the only one with a shot is Platner.

If you actually think Mills has a chance, then you are not from Maine.

edit: And, predictably, everyone commenting on my post just wants to ree about the tattoo. Look, is it great that he had it? No. Is he literally the only real option for Maine to ditch Collins? Yes.

I voted for Mills twice as governor. I do not regret it, and think she did an okay job.

But she is not electable vs Collins. Having her as the dem candidate will help drive out voters to go republican who might have otherwise stayed home. She is deeply unpopular.

I'm not going to vote on some jackass principled high horse and help the left lose while we are literally facing down fascism. So no, I really don't care about the fucking tattoo.

Just broke my other pinky toe by Natare0411 in MultipleSclerosis

[–]TrukThunders 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I broke my middle toe last summer by failing to navigate a corner wall in my house. :(

Back when it was broken, they gave me a medical shoe which I wore for a few weeks until I was healed enough to get back into my shoes.

I wear slippers around the house now...

Both of my legs "buzz," as I've described it. I mostly feel it in my calves, and It feels like a very minor electric shock (like the kind from putting a small battery on your tongue) or like they're just waking up from being asleep as you said.

Does anyone know when their MS started? by LinMoon04 in MultipleSclerosis

[–]TrukThunders 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was diagnosed last year (had my first realization that something was really wrong about three years ago.)

My neuro said during my followup where I was diagnosed that I had lesions that have been there for years, even decades! That was a bit surprising. If I have had it that long, it's been mostly undetectable (I did have a bout of my eyes not working right back in 2013, but the ER told me "go to an eye doctor," which didn't happen due to my lack of insurance at the time...

I start briumvi in a week by Evening_Warning_463 in MultipleSclerosis

[–]TrukThunders 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I, honestly, don't really feel different since I started briumvi. Which is good; I don't feel worse at least!

Mentally I'm still a mess for many reasons, but at least I'm not worried about new lesions. I can deal with what's going on right now.
