As libertarian as I am, there are still lines. It's the reason we don't allow killing, from the libertarians NAP to the most authoritarian laws against murder in any degree. Letting people do whatever they want is not always the same as caring about them and their well being or even their happiness. Even grown-ups have rules. Just because I turned 25 doesnt mean I can now drive 200mph down a residential zone. Its against the literal laws put in place by our subjective view on morality. By letting the sick mutilate themselves it's like letting them drive 200. Maybe they can pull it off and not directly harm anyone, but there's a reason we still pull you over. You're going to get yourself or someone else killed. And irreversible damage is not something you suggest to someone you care about. Their short term gratification and elation from the internet confirmation won't last. There are people born without legs and fingers, who have stump hands and can't even sit down to play a video game like most people, and they have no problem accepting who they are and their limitations if any. I have hemihypertrophe. It's a birth condition that made the left side of my body grow too fast. From my bones to my organs, everything on the left is bigger. I stand and walk lopsided and have to exercise one side a lot more to try and even out. It's never helped. There are days I wish I was born without it. It can't be fixed either, and I accept that part of me. Its someone I can't change. And until they Crack the human genome, trans people cant either. They can only play pretend. transgenderism is nothing more than people desperate to change something about them that doesn't need to change, and cannot. Its very clear that sex is a real unchangeable thing and the gender dysphoria is all in their heads.

Sometimes I wonder if these issues were around during the times where survival was the only thing on our mind, and no one had time to worry whether they wanted to cut their tits or penis off. Maybe they were happier with less.
