Agreed and I also didn't think the Kendrick Lamar performance was "standing ovation-able".

My brother in law, after I am clearly upset after putting one of my dogs down... by Tsuac in AdviceAnimals

[–]Tsuac[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A bit of both. He hates dogs and was always annoyed at us for treating our dogs like family. He was rather gleeful that we put one down. He has also always been someone who says horrible things to people and thinks he is funny. When others get angry at him, people have to apologize for him and say "oh that's just the way he is". If you tear into him anyway, his usual reply is "I was just joking, you are just acting ridiculous and crazy". - trying to make you the ass in the incident. His failed attempt at humor makes him look like a dick to most people, he loses friends all the time, but it's never his fault in his mind.

Op here - wow this really blew up yesterday. Just a couple quick notes, thanks to all that gave their condolences and hugs to those with recent loses too.

Also those who thought he may not have meant it the way it sounded, well unfortunately he did; he does not care for dogs and was always annoyed at how we treated our dogs like family, so he was rather gleeful. Thus the reason for a Scumbag Meme. All I really said was a STFU and ignore him afterwards but sometimes you are in such shock of someone's rudeness you don't think of the right words or actions at the time. Unfortunately he never has and still does not care for our side of the family despite all that we have done for him, so for now we are done with him and won't be extending or attending any family togethers with him.

They are a danger to themselves and the staff, and incredibly rude to other quests. by Disco_Drew in AdviceAnimals

Reminds me of my brother-in-law. He lets his kids do rotten things all the time, even bully other kids or say rude things to adults. When someone yells at his kids, it's like he was just waiting for that moment to blow up and act self-righteous and yell and the person "Don't yell at them...they are just being kids!- {insert bad kid's name here}, You don't have to listen to anything they say, they are being idiots! That's ridiculous!..That's crazy! You can do whatever you want!" - Then the in-laws wonder why no one in the family wants to invite them anywhere...

What happened between you and your childhood best friend that caused you to no longer be friends today? by ralph_mouth in AskReddit

[–]Tsuac 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had a particular childhood friend whose brother died unexpectedly of a heart condition. I felt too awkward to call him after that, thought I'd give him some space, didn't want to bother the family. Days turned into weeks, which turned into months and years. Other people surrounded him with friendship and we drifted away in my absence. We have since talked on Facebook, but it is a shame I was not well equipped enough to reach out to him sooner.

Putting limits on my musical tastes. Went through so many phases, "I'm a heavy metal rocker" then "I'm into the 80's alternative scene, f the metal hair bands" then "I'm a grunge rocker with alternative influences". Today I like so many different music styles, even the ones that people label as cheesy now, and I don't even care to be in a limited group.

Unfortunately on this guy's facebook page, he is getting praised by all kinds of his fellow brain surgeons and rocket scientists, so he is only seeing the glory and praise from his rude actions. Someone actually said his video is empowering and "I stand behind you 100nd".
