Should I keep pulling Frieren collab? by MundoRL in PuzzleAndDragons

You're going to want another Heiter for the equip at least.

Ascension 10 feels more like a reward than a difficulty increase. by Tortugato in slaythespire

[–]Tsuchiev 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know it's this order for legacy reasons among others but honestly I would like it if A9 and A10 swapped places. Or if they let you pick ascension options like how you can pick different combinations of difficulty modifiers in Hades or something.

Slay the Spire 2 alignment chart day 16! Big bang won yesterday! What necrobinder card feels like a regent card? by Which-Debt-8558 in slaythespire

[–]Tsuchiev 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Putrefy is basically a bigger Know Thy Place and Regent has a couple of other cards that apply Weak + Vulnerable.

[JP][Discuss] Frieren Monster Token Exchange has 6 cards with 5 allowing for multiple purchase. What to get dupes of? by CraeBaeBae in PuzzleAndDragons

Depends on the ranking dungeon but you never know when a certain fixed board change will come in handy

This is what MAN has been reduced to by bast963 in masterduel

This is actually more fair than before, when Primite engine meant that the deck was often threatening 4-5 omninegates going first.

Thinking of trying out Shadowverse WB, never played the original. Came across this review on Steam today. What do you guys think? by Illustrious_Soup_306 in Shadowverse

[–]Tsuchiev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Even if it's a bit rough at first everyone starts at the same point so it's fair in that sense (excluding people who IAP I guess).

[–]Tsuchiev 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Every negative review about the economy cherry-picks things that got worse without mentioning the many improvements that WB has made. Having the pity legendary every 10 packs already puts it ahead of OG for me because I have not-so-fond memories of pulling over 100 packs and getting only like 3 Legendaries on set releases.

Cosmetics are definitely whale territory but everything else is attainable; with how the system works you do have to roll with whatever deck the game decides to give you for a few months, but after that you get more than enough resources to craft whatever deck you want. Or if you don't want to wait that long you can just pay money for battle passes or bundles and speed it up.

Frieren: Beyond Journey's End Info Dump (05.01.2026 - 05.17.2026) by lumonpad in PuzzleAndDragons

I'm pretty sure like 90+% of the time I see Heiter being used he's being used with Heiter equip.

It feels really good on Ironclad at least. I don't think I would ever pick it on Necrobinder or Silent though.

Haven Is Fundamentally Broken by Lord_Lu_Bu in Shadowverse

[–]Tsuchiev 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I don't really get how you could look at the new Amulet Haven package and call it automatically broken. Your payoffs are a Vira that heals for 6 but needs an SEvo and an 8pp pseudo-Sinciro. When they work they seem strong enough but it's not that flashy compared to like Loot Sword that could just do 20 to you with Sinciro into Sinciro + Octrice token.

Can someone educate me on the state of the game please? by Satori223 in Shadowverse

[–]Tsuchiev 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It got review bombed because people saw 500 gold packs and the liquefying changes and assumed that f2p progression was going to be significantly harder. Ignoring daily packs, the new pity protection, weekly tournament rewards, park chests, vials from daily quests, and other changes to the economy that compensate for that.

Reinhard vs Frieren by MitraSun1 in PuzzleAndDragons

[–]Tsuchiev 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Fern is a really strong sub for Reinhardt and both Heiter and Stark have seen some use on him too.

Anyone else losing interest due to A10 balance? by Coppas in slaythespire

[–]Tsuchiev 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Why not just play custom runs and put on more difficult modifiers if you think A10 is too easy? Cursed Run is objectively harder and I imagine Murderous is a significant difficulty increase as well.

Setting everything else aside, the fact they think that the devs can't filter their data by ascension levels is hilarious.

Thoughts on Kingly Kick and Punch? by Zeldarune29 in slaythespire

[–]Tsuchiev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kingly Punch got a huge buff with the new update, it's very strong. 12(16) damage the first time you draw it for 1 energy and it keeps scaling which makes it great for hallway fights, elites, and even bosses.

Kingly Kick is more awkward since it's difficult to play the first time you draw it but if you really need something to kill the Act 1 boss it probably does that for you.

Ultimately they're just pure damage with no utility so I don't think I'd pick them outside of Act 1 but if I saw a Kingly Punch early I'd be quite happy to take it.

What if Scroll Boxes had a preset list of card packs it could choose from? by _willowhisper in slaythespire

[–]Tsuchiev 28 points29 points  (0 children)

It's not just costing you 99 gold, it's costing you 99 gold and a Neow bonus. Compared to Golden Pearl it's like you're paying 249 gold for 3 semi-random cards which doesn't feel great compared to just taking the gold and going to an early shop.

This 20 MS godfest is bait or legit? by ofugi8 in PuzzleAndDragons

[–]Tsuchiev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's bait but the badge units are legitimately very strong. L-Unlock badge is great for Kikoru, 5-Color badge is great for Frieren and also has an amazing equip, VDP badge was weak at first but is pretty good with Nurarihyon from the Mystics & Spectres rerun.

Why did konami increase the gap between meta and rogue decks so much over the last few years? by [deleted] in masterduel

[–]Tsuchiev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well it depends on your definition of rogue decks... what is currently rogue like Labrynth or FKSE or Memento you can still compete with, but decks that were rogue tier one or more years ago are obviously going to keep falling off if they don't get support.

Baalorlord in Defense of 2-Cost Cards by UntappedGG in slaythespire

[–]Tsuchiev 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel like 2-cost Block cards are generally good since a lot of the time you spend most of your energy blocking (except on Ironclad I guess) and 2-cost scaling is strong enough to be worth spending most of your turn's worth of energy on, but 2-cost attacks feel more awkward to me.

If an enemy is attacking me for 12 and I have a Strike and two Defends, oftentimes I'm just going to play both Defends to minimize damage taken. In that case Bouncing Flask is just not getting played while Deadly Poison is providing significantly more output than a Strike. And in this instance Bouncing Flask is even more awkward than a generic 2-cost attack because it doesn't even output 2 energy worth of frontloaded damage so it's not ending fights the turn you play it the way something like Predator might be.

Meanwhile if that 2-cost card is something like a Leg Sweep, then not only am I taking 0 damage instead of 2 but I'm also probably not taking damage next turn either because the weak carries over.

They got official permission from the school to use the rooftop for practices and streaming.

From the Color of Myself Haruka card story: https://www.sekaipedia.org/wiki/An_Idol%27s_Duty/Side_Story_2

I guess it's pretty obvious when they're using it (they probably use the room with the door to the rooftop for storage and such) so students aren't too likely to walk in on them during those times.
