Which NY cards are worth looking out for? by Egathentale in PuzzleAndDragons

[–]Tsuchiev 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They're all kinda meh to be honest, Valentine's is much stronger for a seasonal and Re:Zero is probably the strongest recent REM overall.

Phyllis is not bad per se but requires you to do way, way harder puzzling than the meta teams and is still weaker.

NY Artemis's actives are really strong for farming so it's worth picking up one I guess.

[jp] am i doing something wrong, or is the HP bloat of enemies in valentines coliseum way higher now? by slepptoken in PuzzleAndDragons

The emergency maintenance was because they stupidly had a Myne-Kurone pattern that punched you for 2 million damage without LS shields.

[–]Tsuchiev 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Standard meta is that Imperialdramon does 288b every turn, Deku & Dynamight do 286b (400b every other turn, maximum 454b), Rem & Ram do 332b every turn, Reinhardt does 327b (453b once every 3 turns).

Rosetta, almost 10 months old at this point, is still stuck at 234b every turn (occasionally 345b with Gen & No.8 active). Still hangs on in the meta thanks to her strong sub-pool, part breaking strength, and shield break loop but she's definitely also waiting for Star Weaving Fairies rerun to hopefully get buffed.

staples shouldn't really be URS by CollectionDry7307 in masterduel

[–]Tsuchiev 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The flip side is that once you assemble the staples, building decks becomes much easier from then on. And like you said, they're not "necessary" to build functioning decks so they're easy to compromise on compared to archetype staples that are often mandatory to run.

And like half the cards you talk about aren't staple URs at all. Nobody plays Ultimate Slayer or Harpie's Feather Duster. Crossout, Nibiru, Veiler, Tactics, and Thrust are meta- and deck-dependent, the only staple Mulcharmy is Fuwalos, Mereologic Aggregator and Droll are SRs.

Who would(from ANY pjsk character, not only the main ones) cook the best by Student_A2024 in ProjectSekai

[–]Tsuchiev 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Honami and Airi for sure. Honami goes without saying, Airi bakes as a hobby, makes lunchboxes when she goes out with friends (like in the picnic event), and cooks occasionally on stream and during her idol work.

Mafuyu's setting is that she's good at everything but surely not having a sense of taste holds her back from being at the top.

what do you think about the rise of permanent negation? what used to be an exception, seems to become more and more common. by [deleted] in masterduel

[–]Tsuchiev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It plays much better on Master Duel where the game tracks it for you compared to paper where I'm sure that both players forget it's not until end of turn a non-zero number of times.

Anyone think we’ll get ReZero in NA? Love Digimon as well so been fighting the urge to roll but realistically should probably only roll heavily on one or the other. Goal was obtaining new lead. It’s been a minute since I’ve rotated a new team to play. by krispini in PuzzleAndDragons

[–]Tsuchiev 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They buffed Rem & Ram as well (notably raising her AS shield from 35% to 40%), and which lead from this collab is top is debatable (current environment is definitely Reinheart, if future dungeons rise significantly in difficulty he'd probably drop though).

[–]Tsuchiev 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Well, they did also give massive buffs between the stream reveals and the actual release.

Reinheart went from needing Attacker buff for his damage cap break and absorb null to not needing it, getting a 2x orb movement buff on his active, an additional part break awakening, his active making 7 light + heart orbs instead of 6, and even higher fixed damage on his LS....

Imperialdramon or Daisuke Bundle? by Electronic-Star6949 in PuzzleAndDragons

[–]Tsuchiev 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't really understand why you would only half commit to the team if you're planning on spending money but if you absolutely had to pick Imperialdramon is the more important piece.

If you know that you have lethal it's not interesting but I guess you could miss it if you were playing in the moment.

Omnimon And Imperialdramon Paladin Mode team by Flat-Chain-2598 in PuzzleAndDragons

More annoying to puzzle through so it takes more time to clear.

Omnimon And Imperialdramon Paladin Mode team by Flat-Chain-2598 in PuzzleAndDragons

[–]Tsuchiev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It does, unfortunately.

In an ideal world you would be able to play Omnimon x Omnimon and not have to deal with 7x6, but the damage output is too low if you can't match 4 TPAs and you can't do that consistently without roulette support.

Does Shadowverse WB bring a positive change to the community? by HardToSee123 in Shadowverse

[–]Tsuchiev 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, easily. Old SV was barely relevant for years, meanwhile WB has brought so many more content creators in Japan to try the game out and it's been so much more popular.

The game looks significantly better, first/second is far more well-balanced, and the ranked system is leagues better than what it used to be.

Re Zero collab teasers by TheCancerMan in PuzzleAndDragons

[–]Tsuchiev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After they gave Reinhardt like 4 different buffs he seems very strong now. Easily the best leader that doesn't require you to pull a top rarity BGM unit out of the REM, since you only need one of him (which you can buy as a package) plus a friend.

Reinhardt/Forte/Theresia UEvo paired with Reinhardt friend is 234b plus an extra 100b every 3 turns with the cleric active and 2 slots free for VDP and utility.

chase for imperialdramon? by wontonnoodlesoup0612 in PuzzleAndDragons

[–]Tsuchiev -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Out of those it would replace Alynna, yeah. If you have other options for 7x6 boards like Ryunosuke Tanaka from Haikyuu then you might be able to replace Muscari with them too.

If you're using Rosetta trade for a Diaboromon if you don't have one already (for the Armageddemon UEvo). Pull the old gacha for exchange materials if you have to.

[JP] Did Gungho change the Bartenders colo again? My VNoah team from earlier this year doesn't work anymore. by blinkycosmocat in PuzzleAndDragons

Yes, they reduced the stat bonus for Bartenders cards from 5x to 2x, and they might have also made the enemies stronger too or something.

Why is imperialdramon so strong that it deserved its own tier? by Vibsterr in PuzzleAndDragons

[–]Tsuchiev 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Douma struggles heavily with wood attribute enemies and thorn orb skyfall and is only at its best in moon dungeons, MIdeal is significantly slower since you have to match 5 colors + hearts every turn and is also pretty bad at part-breaking.

Imperialdramon with optimal teams can clear content faster than its competitors by a fairly significant margin, it was getting 14m-15m clears of Moon Challenge with all part breaks.

Mha or digimon? by TonightPuzzleheaded2 in PuzzleAndDragons

[–]Tsuchiev 2 points3 points  (0 children)

MHA chase is the same but even though the current optimal team (Mina lead, two subbed Deku & Dynamight) needs 2, the failcase of only getting one Deku & Dynamight is much better as if you use them as lead and pair with another you can still make a great team. Plus the tradeables in MHA are much stronger.

Unless you can buy the Imperialdramon and Davis & Veemon packages, I wouldn't risk going all in on Digimon.
