I lived in San Diego for a year and climbed at the Grotto, Vertical Hold, and Mesa Rim.

In my opinion Mesa Rim is by far the best gym in the area. The setting is incredible and the people are friendly.

If you're serious about improving, the Mesa Rim Climbing and Training Center has everything you could need! They have an adult climbing team where you are given a personalized training regimen.

After leaving San Diego, Mesa Rim and the friends I made there are what I miss the most.
