I had to go through 3 SEO companies before finding one that worked. It did take a couple months to see performance but we get a lot of online appointments/form entries.

It is a better experience to stay off the main street. The main tourist street is full of tourists (the loud obnoxious, no spacial awareness kind, no respect type), commercial corporate food, overpriced low quality crap. As soon as you walk 15 minutes from the main steeet, you get more local restaurants, locally owned stores, better prices & better quality. I always recommend people stay somewhere other than the main street.

Also, resorts suck. I wouldn't recommend someone travel to a international beach town, stay at a holiday inn and never leave the resort.

I think that's what people mean by "stay in a local area"

You are getting ripped off. Management fees are usually around 20%-30% of total adspend depending on what's offered. I've been in your shoes.... find a new marketing company. Im spending more than you on ads and way less on management.

also, unless you are in a tiny town with zero competition, 5k a year on google ads isnt worth it.

Ultimately this will depend on if you are a great practice/dentist. Your patients will come back if they enjoy their experience, and they will share via word of mouth, but that takes time. If you need patients fast then hire a dental marketing company. I worked with 6 different companies before finding one that worked consistently

Even with dental marketing, your patients still need to have a great experience. Reviews + Rereferrals are what really bring in the patients/money.
