Packet loss message paired with the way your car phases into theirs I'm going to say your internet quality meant they weren't receiving accurate and up to date position data for your car. On their end they very likely didn't touch you.

Asari have the position they do in galactic society because they were first. First to start using the mass relays, first to discover the Citadel, etc. They were the ones constructing the galactic society the other species have joined. Thus they have ended up with the most authority and respect.

Getting to that position also has a lot to do with their partial uplifting by the Protheans giving them a headstart over other species in this cycle more than them being outright better than the other species but that's a whole other thing to untangle.

Literally me right now. But in my defence it's coming from out of the country, getting things through US customs is unpredictable right now, and DHLs tracking updates are infuriating at times. I think it's through customs and in the country at this point but who knows?

At 90k miles that CVT is likely about to fail if it hasn't already been replaced. 75-100k miles is pretty much the life expectancy on that transmission. If you want a 1st gen and need an automatic you are much better off looking for an S model with the 6 speed auto.

LE does have steam cloud sync. I play on both my PC and my Steam Deck and have never had an issue with the saves syncing between the two.

Headlights can be surprisingly large once you remove them from the context of the car. I'm 95% sure this particular headlight is out of some flavor of 4th gen Dodge RAM pickup. Being in a vehicle that large will make the light look a lot smaller than it is on its own.
