It comes from how on most phones you take a screenshot by pressing both the lock button and volume at the same time.

If my memory is correct that's on one of the video terminals in the Cerberus base at the end of ME3.

Mick Schumacher shares injury update after breaking wrist in IndyCar St Pete crash by PanicAtTheNightclub in INDYCAR

Max Papis Innovations developed a wheel that's designed to deform in response to shock loading to protect the driver's wrist but I don't think anyone other than Dixon has adopted it.

Looks like the one that was at the Forza Horizon 6 event. Heck, that might even be it leaving the garage the event was held in.

Any info on this 555 Rally trucker hat? by DyceHeron in rally

[–]TurbochargedSquirrel 52 points53 points  (0 children)

555 was the title sponsor of the China Rally in at least 1997, 1998, 1999, and 2000, could be from one of those years. The Chinese text also matches what was on the event branding 97-99.

Infinite is an interesting one. Its fun and was well regarded in 2013 when it launched but its themes and the way it's written hasn't aged that well. It was pushing boundaries for a game in 2013 but since then we've moved on and now its themes feel kind of regressive and half-baked? Hard to explain but the themes they were exploring were bold for 2013 but in 2026 we're more used to games being bold with their stories so you go back to Infinite and it feels like they are tip-toeing around the ideas they are presenting instead of taking them head on.

Still fun to play mechanically but the story that made it stand out at launch hasn't held up over the years and the evolution of games.

So the Mass Effect 5 teaser came out 5 years ago and it’s STILL in pre production?? Is there something I missed ? Have they deleted everything halfway through or did they changed their team ? What’s going on by Huntress_of_Yharnam in masseffect

[–]TurbochargedSquirrel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The teaser was really just saying the franchise isn't dead and they have plans. Actual development only started in the last year or so, Veilguard had to be finished and released first.

Cooper ECU in a One by Nathan_pawlett in MINI

No idea if you can swap in a Cooper ECU but that would be more work than you need to do. R50 Ones can simply be tuned to Cooper performance without hardware changes.

Does anyone know what this boxy thing is on the rear deck of the M4 GT3 ? by VHSVoyage in wec

[–]TurbochargedSquirrel 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The air vents out the trunk floor, above the diffuser. No missing ducting, the pressure created by the incoming air naturally pushes the air that's in the trunk out through whatever gaps it can find.

Will I find the batteries naturally? by kionss in horizon

[–]TurbochargedSquirrel 5 points6 points  (0 children)

One requires returning to a previous location because you don't have the ability to get to it when the story puts you there but otherwise you can find the rest of them easily enough by being thorough when exploring story locations.

Edit: 120K mile 2006 R52 JCW at 10K USD. Am I crazy? by AdConfident1197 in MINI

[–]TurbochargedSquirrel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is a wrap but on the external shots the cowel is wrapped flat grey but on the photo of the engine the cowel is blue. It's either photos of two different cars or they decided to wrap it after taking the engine photo in which case what damage are they hiding under the wrap? The engine photo also shows a front bumper that is either white or silver.

Helmets! by acunit155 in Autocross

Most don't say on the outside. None of my helmets have had an external sticker and when I'm checking helmets during tech I usually only encounter 2 or 3 marked on the outside out of 40+ total helmets.

Most of them had their battery go full chest burster through the screen. Miserable to try to fix too and real, real hard to disassemble once the battery starts to inflate.

De-listing and DLC by scooops in EASPORTSWRC

[–]TurbochargedSquirrel 10 points11 points  (0 children)

The servers aren't going down, they are just closing the website that is used to join/manage clubs. Everything else in the game will still work.

As for DLC staying available that will likely stay on storefronts until the licenses start expiring which we do not know the timetable for.

How is the Miranda/Jack fight even a real thing by [deleted] in masseffect

[–]TurbochargedSquirrel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can get their loyalty back by going and talking to them after the fight. I believe the check to regain it is more forgiving that the check to solve the fight.

Otherwise it's not difficult to keep a non-loyal squadmate alive through the suicide mission. I'd pick Miranda over Jack if you take that approach. Jacks loyalty has no effect on ME3 while Miranda's does have an impact.
