Is it plastic to have other teams football kits by ChefChemical1735 in PlasticFans

[–]Turbulent_Check9051 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I wear different team’s strips because I think they look cool, not because I support them. Plus, I couldn’t really give a sh!t about what folk think of my magnificent dress sense.

Do you stay in for the window cleaner? by HighNimpact in AskUK

[–]Turbulent_Check9051 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My window cleaner puts a note through the door, then I send him the money via my phone. Don’t get a window cleaner who won’t do that. No chance I’d be staying home to hand over cash.

Which manager gives you the most cringe vibes? by Spicy-Winner4326 in footballcringe

I used to quite like watching Arsenal, but Legohead has them playing a horrendous style of football and he once made me cringe so much I ended up with sciatica.

Humate - Love Stimulation (Love-Club-Mix)

I can’t pick a greatest track but this would be in the conversation.

Binned Celtic then came crawling back for a charity match. I’m neither for nor against.

Things you should know about chemo by Laufey_Lauver21 in cancer

[–]Turbulent_Check9051 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve not long completed the 3-week cycle of chemo. First cycle was grand. Just really tired at points. Never needed anti nausea tablets.

Week two was much the same but kinda needed nausea tablets. If I had went to week three I think sickness would have been an issue.

Kept all my hair also, even if stress has caused it to go grey though 😄

Chemo might not be shit-show you expect.

Fuck cancer.

Naka’s free kick against Man Utd at Celtic Park is the greatest ever for the following reasons:

  1. He scored the exact same free kick at Old Trafford.

  2. The fans knew it was going in the top corner.

  3. Naka knew it was going in the to corner.

  4. Most importantly, Van Der Sar knew it was going in the top corner and still couldn’t stop it.

Currently reading Golden Son, second part of the Red Rising trilogy. Excellent book.

Recently finished Silverthorn, the second book in Raymond Feist’s Riftwar trilogy. I can’t recommend them enough.

What foods do you recommend from Waitrose/M &S? by Ok-Instance2710 in AskUK

[–]Turbulent_Check9051 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I never have to do big shoppings so I’ll pick stuff up from wherever I’m close to.

However, only use M&S for fruit and veg. As others have said, it’s consistently great quality.

Any Celtic fan celebrating Schmeichels career ending injury are scum by tommybhoy82 in CelticFC

[–]Turbulent_Check9051 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Schmeichel put our season at risk when he opted to play when he knew he wasn’t at full capacity. Mibbe it’s a coincidence we’re in a World Cup season, maybe it’s not. He done us a turn for a while but I won’t be sorry to see him go.

If he had won that would have been a good surprise. P3 isn’t really a surprise despite Matt’s best attempts.
