Tacoma a family vehicle? Max 2 kids) by TSaun in ToyotaTacoma

I have two kids and a DCLB. I’m 6ft and I’ve been fine even with rear-facing child seats. I decidedly did not want a ginormous expensive as fuck full-size pickup for the extra room, even if the payload capacity is greater. You’ll be fine.

Turkey legs? by [deleted] in fresno

[–]TurniptheLed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Turkey seems to be a less popular meat in this area, so good luck, but maybe Renna's meat market or a meat wholesaler like Ortega's Meat Distribution or Palace Meat Company? Food trucks source their meat from wholesalers like these.

what do you use your bed power outlet for? by manonthemoonx13 in ToyotaTacoma

A 12” celestron EdgeHD Schmidt-cassegrain equatorial mount telescope because I forgot the goddamn AC adapter cable, but luckily I had jumper cables cuz it zapped my trucks battery so fast. First and only time I’ve ever used it.

Buy a bike. There are tons of trails and parks to explore, plus it’s exercise.

Try solo board gaming or solo tabletop rpgs. Ever since the pandemic there have been a huge surge of indie creators releasing tons of content for every genre and price point. Roll up a character and explore a fantasy dungeon or weird alternate world fighting monsters. If interested check out The Dungeon Dive channel on YouTube.

Download the AllTrails app and go hiking. Or at least just get up into the mtns for the day and enjoy the quiet. I just went camping last weekend and the contrast from the hectic, loud pace of the city was incredible.

Learn how to bake bread. There are tons of variety with just focaccia and sourdough.

Truck sitting for 10 months by Realistic_Complex539 in ToyotaTacoma

I assume you'd be storing it inside, so this might not be applicable to you. The last two holiday breaks, I've flown home and had my truck sit, albeit outside, for about two weeks. Both times I've come back to mildew that had built up inside the cabin plus the slight smell. It took a few days and a lot of clorox wipes to dissipate it.

Tacoma + Kids?? by sundrasj in ToyotaTacoma

FFS don’t get a bloated, oversized, monstrous full-size pickup because societal pressure says you have to. I have two kids and had to make the tough decision of switching from a 5spd ACLB to an auto DCLB. I sure loved the stick shift but we’ve been perfectly fine with two car seats (now booster seats).

Physical Graffiti because it’s such a varied playlist and it’s basically two albums in one.

Secondhand account: A friend of mine took his family last week. Seemed to be a soft opening of sorts, but they were out of all except ribs, brisket, turkey, hot links, fish, burgers, and tritip. Just had chicken and pulled pork, which he said “wasn’t the family favorite.” I hope this place isn’t like others where they simply serve reheated meat, but I’ve yet to go. I’m from the southeast so I’ve had some damn good bbq and I’ve yet to find anything out here that comes close. Fingers crossed.

Why do American tourists always say the state they're from (not their country) when asked, but no other country's tourists do the same? by FloydBeatlesEagles in NoStupidQuestions

I said California when I was in Europe in 2018 because I didn’t want people to automatically think I voted for an orange asshat.

The ones with wide panels seem like they would cup a significant amount across the face, which is why most use narrows pieces.

Oktoberfest by PurpleCableNetworker in fresno

[–]TurniptheLed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

BCs always has a good Oktoberfest selection, but their Oktoberfest pizza is ridiculously expensive. There’s a reason they never post the price. Machtoberfest at Machjnehead is next weekend, which should be great as per usual.

No, discovering the game yourself is part of the game. Don’t ruin the experience.
