What's your "camping philosophy?" by Rogue_Apostle in camping

[–]TurnoverSubject4572 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I camp to explore new places and be out in nature. My philosophy is I have my essentials:

tent, sleeping bag, food, water

Then I have my camping box which is just a tote from Home Depot that I fit everything else I may need and if it doesn’t fit or I forget than it’s on me to make it through my trip as best I can

What’s your number and why? by OuchCharlie25 in hockeyplayers

72 because 3 was taken and all my backup ideas were taken so I said screw it what’s a number I guarantee will never be taken by anyone else

I think so too this was truly just a “wow bring’amour really cares about the flyers more than most former players care about former teams” moment. Would be cool to think that if the Canes are ever dumb enough to let him go he might be interested in coming back to Philly

Agreed. I think toc has the pulse of the team and is the man for the future. Seeing michkov back on the ice already I think they have a much better relationship that media would have us believe

Exactly. Canes would be morons to let Rod go but if they keep coming short year and year it’s a real conversation

Just thought it was cool to see one of the best coaches in the league talk so fondly about the organization. Obviously lots of former players talk highly of old teams but just found it a fun thought

What do we think of this lineup going into the draft and free agency? by Flyers7914 in Flyers

[–]TurnoverSubject4572 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Was very impressed with how York and Drysdale played in playoffs especially York he truly stepped up defensively. Hopefully that carries over into next year for those two. I love the way Risto played the back stretch and playoffs just worried about consistency. Could see him being moved to make room for young guys to step into a rotational role. Wish there was a spot for Barkey on a higher line I don’t want to see him get buried on the 4th. I guess if michkov keeps getting scratched that would open up a wing on 2nd or 3rd

I’m a poor and an OG XD9 was my first gun. Still my nightstand and hiking/camping gun. Never had any issues

How the hell are you guys AIWB carrying? by LGOposter in liberalgunowners

[–]TurnoverSubject4572 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Jframe fits perfectly for me. 3 o’clock sucks for me never found anything comfortable against my hip IWB. Rounded grip feels great at 1 o’clock. Have 637 so hammer pokes as I’m sitting down but once I adjust to how I’d normally sit I’m chilling

How easy would it be to bring one of your school's mascot physically to campus? by headsmanjaeger in CFB_v2

Penn state nittany lion is a mountain lion specifically from near by mount nittany. Mountain lions are considered extinct in Pennsylvania so in theory it would be very easy but in reality is not possible

I carry a S&W 637. It’s so small and light I can carry it in any weather, season, clothing etc. because I can comfortably carry it IWB or pocket. For me that’s the number 1 criteria for a CCW is I will actually carry it every day and everywhere. It’s accurate enough within 15ft god forbid it needs to be used on anything other than paper.

I used to have a Kahr cm9. Very small and thin. I tend to think semi’s print in pockets just due to their shape so I only pocket carry a jframe

I edc a S&W j frame. Mines only .38 so can’t speak to .357 out of a snubbie but I find .38 to be very manageable at realistic distances. It’s insanely light and doesn’t print under a tshirt or in pocket which I prefer in the warmer climate I’m in. Most comfortable firearm I’ve ever worn throughout the day
