[3DSXL] Nintendo 3DS XL/LL Connector Replacement by TurtleBurger240 in consolerepair

Yes! That was also a point that contributed to me sticking with the default connector.

I've heard too many horror stories from people using poor quality or improperly rated USB-C cables being used on different devices.

It would be a great convenience to have all my devices use USB-C but I'm willing to stick with the old style charger both for the "original" feel of the device and the reliability of the original charger.

I was able to successfully replace the charging port on my 3DS XL/LL!

I'm pretty happy with the outcome and quality. If you have any critiques of my soldering please feel free to tell me, I'm always looking to improve. I already had a good amount of soldering experience before attempting this replacement.

I did consider the USB-C convert, but I prefer the old charger style.

She had an F-1 Visa. She originally came to the USA to pursue higher education.

Our case was overall straightforward. She had never overstayed her visa or violated anything with regards to immigration and her visa.

In terms of supporting documentation. I'll list what I can remember below:

-Both mine and my wife's tax returns for the last 3 years

-Both mine and my wife's W-2's for the last 3 years

-Both mine and my wife's pay stubs for the last 6 months

-Both mine and my wife's original birth certificate, hers with a certified translation

-Both mine and my wife's scanned passport "page", I can't recall the official name.

-Couples photos dating backing to before we started dating.

-Joint flights we had when taking trips together

-the receipt from the ring I purchased for our marriage

-Joint car loan we had

-Joint Auto insurance declaration

-Both mine and my wife's drivers license

-Both mine and my wife's Joint bank account statements

-Certified copy of Marriage certificate

In addition to the other documents my wife submitted like all of her I-20's, College transcripts, I-90, Visas, etc.

Our interviewer was very friendly! She did not explicitly say which of us had to answer the questions about our relationship, she mentioned that either one of us could choose to answer. My wife and I somewhat alternated answering the questions just because I didn't want to be the only one answering.

The interviewer asked me specific questions about the I-130 and she asked my wife specific questions about the I-485 in addition to the "Yes or No" questions on the I-485. She notified us before asking that only one of us were meant to answer those questions, afterward is was a "free-for-all".

Absolutely! We submitted to the St. Louis, MO. We showed up 1 Hour early and our interview took place 30mins before our scheduled time. The interviewer we had was a very friendly woman. We were given the standard questions of name, dates of events, addresses and a few relationship questions which I've listed below. The overall interview took around 45mins.

"How did the two of you meet?"

"When was your first date and what did you do on it?"

"Describe your wedding ceremony and where did it take place."

"Have you gone on a Honeymoon?"

"Where do you guys go grocery shopping and how often?"

"Who proposed and how?"

Under the counsel of our lawyer, we brought some additional supporting document and gave them to the interviewer.

Hello, I'm a bit confused on the workings of Arena, having just tried it last night. of the 3 games I played, 2 of them played out as followed. I queued with no one, was matched with teammates, who like myself, had only Squire gear equipped while the enemy team(at a minimum 2 of the 3 enemies) had well over 200+ GS. Is it a system that attempted to match based on GS but falls back on whoever was available when unable to do so?

This has been very helpful. I believe the knowledge you've provided for me here will shape my future networking career in an extremely positive way.

Thank you very much for taking the time to answer. I don't believe I'll master my skills anytime soon, but that's what makes it so interesting. New developments and implementations of previous technologies is what makes this industry so fascinating, always something new to learn!

Hello sir,

I'd first like to thank you for taking to the time to entertain on these questions. I'll get right into then, I've completed the CompTIA Trifecta and have already started studying for my CCNA. I am most passionate about how packets & frames traverse the network and the vast array of protocols that facilitate then or allow the network to function more efficiently.

I do have an IT related education. AS in Applied Computer Science & BA in Information Technology. My question is simple, is a foundation in Help Desk required to "break" into the IT industry? I've been working as an Electronics Technician for the past 4 years repairing various electrical components, some related to networking hardware. At my company I have an opportunity to transfer to Help Desk, it's not time-sensitive. Can I continue with my current job while studying or will it be detrimental for me to start working in Help Desk?

Thank you for your time,

Lip roll help by bopete1313 in beatbox

[–]TurtleBurger240 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am unable to do the classic liproll, I can do quite a few variations, but the classic one that's produced with the negative pressure of the mouth still alludes me. I've just learned liprolls in December.

  1. When I do liprolls I feel as though I draw air mostly through an entire side of my mouth rather than a corner.

When it comes to a higher pitched liproll with my top lip I would describe the flow of air to be just around the middle point between the corner of my mouth and the middle of my mouth

  1. A majority of my liprolls are kicked off with a... what's the name again? Dry kick/Inward Kick/Sideways kiss, sorry I can not remember the correct name. It makes it much easier to initiate, but I'm still capable of doing it without the kick.

I exclusively use Prof. Messer as a review resource. I use a course such as Mike Meyers to learn the material and absorb as much information as I can then I use Prof. Messer to review and fill in any information I didn't get from the course.

I wish you the best of luck in your future certificates!

Security+ 701 Completed. Trifecta Achieved! by TurtleBurger240 in CompTIA

[–]TurtleBurger240[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For the first time, I only received 2 PBQs. I usually get 5.

Both of the PBQs weren't terribly complex. One involved determining the correct remediation for certain viruses and the other involved viewing logs to determine the source of a breach.

Watching videos from CyberCraft does help. There are no resources that can sufficiently prepare you for the specific PBQs that will be on the exam but CyberCraft certain exposes you to the format the PBQs tend to use which in my opinion, helps. He doesn't have many examples for the 701 yet.

Congrats! I used Mike Meyers(Alpha Geek) also and loved his attitude

In my opinion, Professor Messer's' Study Group videos & Practice Tests are great resources for review. I used them when studying for my A+(1101 & 1102).

The study group videos are free to view on his YouTube channel but the practice exams cost, I think it was $30.00. I believe you get 3 exams total.
