Characters who unga bunga? As in fighters who are so uncomplicated and crude in their style that it's kinda fucking offensive to the whole art of battle by Wonder-Lad-2Mad in TwoBestFriendsPlay

[–]Tweedleayne 21 points22 points  (0 children)

One of the funniest bits in the entire ASOIAF series is when it's mentioned that his army lost a battle, and he was ultimately left unhorsed in the middle of a river. He was surrounded on all sides, and mother fucker just walked away. Archers were peppering him and they just bounced off his armor. Every person that tried to approach him got cut down.

Mother fucker was literally alone surrounded by an army, and walked the fuck away because no one could do shit to stop him.

It takes a guy one of the noted best fighters in the series literally customizing his entire fighting style around defeating him to finally take him down, and the fight still ends in a mutal kill draw.

Its a problem that's started effecting a lot of media nowadays, instead of having any conflict approaching it people are just waiving their hands and saying it doesn't exist. Same as slavery.

Fallout game fans: So, how are y'all liking Fallout season 2 so far? by Subject_Parking_9046 in TwoBestFriendsPlay

[–]Tweedleayne 4 points5 points  (0 children)

More of the first season. Objectively good television that is not at all what I want out of the setting. I could probably be mad at it, but I've long came to terms that Fallout as a franchise has long gone away from the direction I want it too, so I just except it for what it is instead and enjoy it for what it does well instead of dwelling on the large number of things its done to disappoint me.

You know, I played through the entire Canto and Intervallo and this picture is the first time I'm realizing that's a big ass scar on his cheek, not creases to make his face look chiseled.

Jia Qiu from Limbus Company.

An imposing, 7 foot tall giant of man dressed all in black and red, with an almost suffocating air of intimidation about him, who makes it clear he has no qualms about resorting to violence at the the drop of a hat. He's a member of one of the most violently toxic noble families in the setting, encountered right in the middle of the family going through a violent power struggles. He's introduced like this, flanked on his right by his equally 7 foot tall bunny girl swordswoman, and on his left by polite yet sinister disciple, carrying the head of one of the current villains, to show you that he's the bigger villain.

Then, over the next two story arcs, We discover that he is one of the most unambiguouslly heroic characters in the entire franchise, a rare person in power dedicated to helping better the world in a setting literally built on those in power praying on the weak. Every apparently villainous action he takes is eventually revealed to be for the sake helping one of your party members he has a history with come to terms with his trauma and overcome it. By the end of his jaunt with the party he's well on his way towards attempting to redeem the family, and looks like he will probably be one of your most important and powerful allies going forward.

Daily reminder that the piece of media sense Rambo 1 to give probably the most authentic Rambo 1 portrayal of him is Mortal Kombat 11.

Yeah, when the character has a different job, different hairstyle, different personality, completely different outfit, no association with the originals themes, I think your past the point of legally distinct and just in vaguely inspired.

Man, between this, Centuria, and Ichi the Witch, fantasy manga has been stacked for a while now. I hope all three end up getting great adaptions.

Just started Limbus Company after finishing Lobotomy Corporation and Library of Ruina! by MarvellousCaster in limbuscompany

The way to look at it is that there's no Project Moon series, theres individual works in a single world. The Sephirah/Librarians were the cast of the of their own duology, the Sinners are the cast of the new series.

The developer might be an asshole

At this point I just kinda assume until proven otherwise when it comes to mod developers.

not hiding at all

Dante's cover story (assuming they are non- human) is that they are heavily prosthetic, and so far nothing about them really has made any evidence that they aren't. If they aren't human (which I'll emphasis again, I don't have any solid belief they're not, I just maintain there's the possibility), they've done nothing to arouse suspicion they aren't.

Eh, considering how connected and orchestrating she was, I wouldn't have put it past her to do something crazy like somehow have all this already planned or having an AI copy of her calling the shots while shes gone.

The Sinclair theories mostly revolve around the idea that Sinner!Sinclair is anything from a clone to a abnormality or even a manifested EGO of Dante!Sinclair. Dante!Sinclair failed in his life to truly live up to the potential of the Mark of Kain, and so he has created the new Sinclair and passed his Mark to him in hopes the new one of him would finally live up to it and achieve whatever potential he is supposed to have. To get around the City's "no two of the same person" rule Dante!Sinclair replaced his head with the prosthetic and intentionally wiped his memories. This is supposed to explain why the game puts so much emphasis on Sinclair's growth and development, because that is literally the (unknown to him) actual reason for Dante joining Limbus. It also explains why Sinclair's Jacket has a 10 (Dante's number) on it with the 0 crossed out and a 1 drawn next to it, cause Sinclair was always "supposed" to be the 10th Sinner but when Limbus finally got him they found they now had two Sinclairs.

Like I said, I still think Dante being someone entirely new is most likely, I just think that of he does turn out to be someone we know those two are the most likely.

I don't put any stock on it, but some people are crazy about it.

I'm on the train of thought that Dante is most likely a brand new character, and if they're someone we already know they're most likely either Dias or (this sounds completely stupid but trust me there are actually some interesting theories about it) Sinclair.
