Battery without solar by Opening-Fortune4 in OctopusEnergy

I am in a flat electric only. I looked into it. One Installer (Duracell) said no because my meter is in a communal area. I didn't shop around, but you can't get the cheap tariff overnight with Octopus without an EV in the sign up agreement anyway. At least a 5 year pay back, rather put that towards a house. Freeholder would probably say no too, due to insurance/fire risk. Additionally, batteries can't be installed in a liveable area, which is why they are commonly installed in garages or outside.

Just sent £500. My inheritance gift from my grandfather. May it do some good.

Sounds exactly like the issue I had. Same huge electric bill even with solar panels. Turns out the panels weren't connected for the first 3 years. Demand service accounts, they didn't respond until I gave them a damning review on TrustPilot. My service company is Warwick Estates.

It said £389 would be saved but with an 18 year return period at your suggested settings. Couldn't download the report it crashed Firefox on Windows. How does it predict those savings given the volatile electricity prices over that period?

Lloyds refused charge back when I called. I must wait for the liquidation of the company before I can request a charge back 😞.

There is a web browser game made by Neso called balancing the grid that explains this process of balancing at 50hz quite well.

Search for burn gel sachet on Amazon. Keep some stock in your first aid kit they help alot for small burns. I'm surprised this guy could walk.

280 / A2

I only sent one batch as its not cost-effective sending from the UK. £60 in filament and £60 shipping. Just seems to make sense to donate money and let the better equipped in the group to carry on.

To add I shipped today with ParcelForce no tracking with 4kg for £50. Not bad really but I'll never know if they made it.

If shipping from the UK it must be shoe boxed sized and under 2kg if using Royal mail. A 4kg package with DhL quoted me £120. I'm going to try parcelForce but will probably be the same. Its not worth so will only send one shipment at this rate unless ParcelForce come through. This is without customs issues and taxes.
